Budget Bingo Verdict
Our main issue with Budget Bingo is that it's no more budget-friendly than any other Cozy Games bingo site. In fact, you could say it's less so due to the multiple missing promotions that are usually offered by the BBN network. However, it does boast an exemplary range of bingo variants, free games, a generous no-deposit bonus, and money-saving package deals on game cards. Just don't get overexcited by the brand name as you're likely to be disappointed by what you find.

Design & Usability
It’s a case of budget by name, budget by nature when it comes to the site’s design, as its no-frills appearance contains minimal graphics and a very basic layout. It is, however, functional – it just doesn’t excite the viewer. You can view the different game types (bingo, slots, casino, and games), promotions, help information, view the sign-up offers, look at the current games schedule, become a member or log in to your existing account.
We found empty pages under the Promotions tab where the deposit specials, favourites, and new player offers appear to be missing.
Software & Gameplay
Cozy Games software gives both the site and the lobby a very basic appearance, but it does have a reputation for being easy-to-use and reliable.
Some of the rooms are busier than others, and the 90-ball Big Ben room seems to be the one that attracts the most roomies, as well as the 50-ball Free room. We also found it rather odd that the 75-ball Buckingham Palace room only contained 17 players at 7PM in the evening. The jackpot rooms are networked, and allow you to pre-buy cards for a chance to win prizes as big as £10,000. Although there are five bingo variants on offer and a choice of twelve rooms, none of them are unique to Budget Bingo; therefore, if you’re a member of another BBN site, you might not want to waste your time by joining.
Safety & Security
Budget Bingo clearly displays its credentials, including its UK Gambling Commission license, iTech Labs Random Number Generator, and Trustwave SSL certificate. It also includes pages that tell you more about responsible gaming and privacy.
Payments & Withdrawals
The following payment methods are offered: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro, Neteller, Paysafecard, Skrill, Ukash, and Pay by Mobile, which is a good range but it would be even better if you could pay by wire transfer and Paypal as well.
Making deposits and withdrawals, and entering bonus codes via the Cashier is fast and easy to do. The minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts are £10 and £30 respectively. However, there are two aspects of the banking system we consider sub-par – 1) if you win a progressive jackpot, it’s paid to you in weekly £1,000 installments and 2) you can only request one withdraw during every five-day period.
Customer Support
Luckily, no expense has been spared with regards to customer support, which is available 24/7, 365 days a year via live chat, telephone, email, and support ticket. You can expect a response to email queries within one hour and within ten minutes for support tickets.
Bonuses & Promotions
Many BBN (Best Bingo Network) sites such as Harry’s, Epic, and Gone Bingo offer no-deposit bonuses to new players, and Budget does as well. So, you can enjoy your first bargain by claiming £20 free when you complete the registration process and add valid debit/credit card details.
Next up, is a trio of welcome offers that give you 400%, 300%, and 300% bonuses respectively on your first, second, and third deposit provided your deposits each amount to at least £10. The introductory offers require you to meet the following wagering requirements prior to requesting a withdrawal: 4x bingo or 10x slots.
Due to the missing/empty sections of the promotions tab that we mentioned earlier, there are only four offers listed – Weekly Cashback (up to 20%), Jackpot Specials (the £500 Daily Jackpot Lounge, the weekly £500 Mega Jackpot, and the £1,000 monthly Super Jackpot) which you can earn free tickets for by making deposits to your account, Session Bingo (game card packages which can save you up to £9), and daily free bingo games. These are all standard BBN promotions, and it would be nice if Budget were able to offer some exclusive, additional budget-friendly deals.
Device Compatibility
Due to our knowledge of BBN sites and Cozy Games software, we know that you can play Budget’s games on your mobile device using your web browser. However, it would be helpful if this was mentioned somewhere on the site.
Variety & Originality
Budget has twelve bingo rooms (including one free room) and five game variants (90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball, 50-ball, and 30-ball). There’s also over sixty online slots, fourteen casino and video poker games, and thirteen scratch cards. Overall, it’s a decent and varied selection, but we’d like to see more free rooms, as well as slots and casino games from manufacturers other than Cozy. The problem, as usual, is the site’s lack of originality.
Loyalty & Rewards
The only reference to Budget’s loyalty scheme is in the FAQ, which says that as soon as you sign-up, you’re automatically given free membership. You earn one loyalty point for every £2 spent on bingo and every £10 spent on slots, and you can redeem your points for cash or bonus funds. There does not appear to be any level-based system to allow player progression or any additional loyalty perks.
