The self-proclaimed "Greatest Show on Earth" was first launched in 2015 on 888's Dragonfish network. When it first launched, Circus Bingo brought a few new ideas to the table - is this still the case a year after launch?
Circus Bingo makes an immediate impression on you, thanks to a bright, colourful design with high quality assets. The site’s mascot (Pablo) appears across the site in a range of costumes, adding a touch of friendly fun to the site.
The design is highly practical too. Circus has opted to move the Menu bar to the left hand side of the screen, giving players quick and easy access to all the important functions on the site. It’s amazing how much difference a simple change like this can make - the site is incredibly easy to navigate, as the sidebar is present and unchanged on every page.
When logged in, players have quick and easy access to the Lobby, Members Area, Cashier and Account Information pages through the Menu. There is also a detailed Account Balance section, which clearly highlights cash and bonus balances. Small touches like this make it clear that streamlining the user experience is crucially important to Circus Bingo.
With multiple contact methods, players in need of help at Circus have a lot of options. Support is hosted by 888 on a 24/7 basis, although we wouldn’t really anticipate quick service at 2am.
Circus also employs a live chat team, which is a particular highlight. Players can click the Messaging icon in the bottom right corner of any screen to communicate directly and instantly with a Customer Service rep. If you are looking for a quick answer or solution, it’s definitely the best option on the site.
Response times can vary, but most complaints and questions will be dealt with in reasonable time.
With a 500% welcome bonus (split into 250% bingo, 250% games), Circus Bingo certainly offers a lot of value to players seeking a big first deposit bonus. The site also offers 50 free spins on Fluffy Too, although winnings from these spins are capped at £5 and subject to wagering requirements.
These welcome offer wagering requirements are fairly standard for Dragonfish sites. Players must wager the bingo bonus 4x before making a withdrawal, while the games bonus must be wagered 30x. Wagering requirements do change from offer to offer though, so take note when browsing the Promotions page.
Circus hosts a good number of jackpot bingo games, although most are now shared with sister site Pixie Bingo. Still, with daily and weekly jackpot games, Circus players are getting a good deal.
However, while we were reviewing the site, there were no slot promotions active on the site. It would be nice to see a regular promotion added for slot players, especially as there is a section on the site specifically for these offers.
888’s Dragonfish software is featured on more bingo sites than any other platform right now, and it’s easy to see why. It offers a consistent, reliable experience for players with a number of useful features and personalisation options.

Mobile players should have no issues accessing Circus Bingo on their phone or tablet. The site is fully functional on all mobile devices, thanks to a well designed mobile site which ensures player experience isn’t hindered. It seemed to load and run quite slow on our phone while testing, but that is a small price to pay for a complete mobile experience.
iPhone and iPad players can also find Circus Bingo in the iOS App Store for even easier access to the site. All the features a player would need (including the option to withdraw winnings, crucially) can be found in the App, making it a great addition for iOS players.
Circus Bingo is fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, and has all the industry standards in place to ensure players are kept safe and secure after registering with the site.
As mentioned previously, Circus Bingo hosts a number of jackpot games, but all of them are networked with new sister site Pixie Bingo. This isn’t a problem per se, but it would be nice to see something new and original added to Circus to ensure players continue to gain exclusive value from their membership.
Circus does feature a bonus game which unlocks when a player makes a deposit. Pablo’s Nuts may seem simplistic, but it’s a fun addition to the site. It’s a good alternative to a regular reload bonus too; loyal players will receive plenty of value from redeposits through Pablo’s Nuts alone.
Aside from this, Circus offers a standard range of Dragonfish games and rooms. Players will find 75 and 90 ball games playing throughout the day, and free bingo games are available to players who have deposited recently (usually within seven days).
Slot players can also enjoy Dragonfish’s entire range of slot games on the site. With hundreds of titles, there’s loads to see and do. The catalogue is updated frequently with new additions too.
Players will not be disappointed in Circus’ range of bingo or slot games, although it would be nice to see an exclusive addition or two in the range. It would really help make the site stand out further.
Circus Bingo accepts multiple payment methods through the site’s Cashier, allowing the vast majority of players to deposit and withdraw through their preferred method.
Withdrawal times are clearly stated in the site’s T&Cs page, and while they appear to be quite lengthy, they are subject to Dragonfish’s own policies, and there is very little that the site can do in this regard.
With an accessible Cashier and user-friendly features (details are automatically pulled from the user’s account, for example), depositing and withdrawing is a pleasingly simple process.
The VIP Programme at Circus features four different tiers, all of which offer different benefits to players. For example, by moving into a higher VIP tier, players can earn cashback on bingo or slot losses for the month. There’s a decent scale on each tier, meaning players who do deposit more and progress through the system will receive increased rewards.
To reach the top tier and receive the maximum monthly benefits, players will need to deposit £200 in one month. To some, that might sound like a steep goal, but others will breeze through it in a few days. It can be hard to distribute VIP tiers without excluding players, and Circus seems to have found a good balance.
There are no exclusive rooms or games for VIP players though, which might reduce the value of the system in some players’ eyes. On top of this, there is little incentive to increase your VIP ranking, outside of bigger cashback bonuses and free spins.
It is a solid VIP system that works, but there should be some extra rewards added to the top tiers that players actually want to work towards.
Circus Bingo is a quality site that offers a lot of value to players who choose to register and deposit. The design and layout of the site is first class, making the site attractive and functional. Players on all devices can enjoy a great experience too, thanks to the well designed mobile site.
The launch of Pixie Bingo may have diluted Circus’ exclusive range of games, but it still stands out from the vast majority of bingo sites out there. With some extra promotions and exclusive games, Circus could easily grow to become one of the best sites around.
