Fronted by Take Me Out host, Paddy McGuinness, Jackpotjoy has always enjoyed a high level of popularity. Does it still deserve its place among the bingo site elite?
Paddy McGuinness may well be the face of Jackpotjoy’s marketing, but the site has also developed its own cast of characters to keep visitors entertained. They appear throughout the site, adding character and life to the site, especially on the promotions page.
To be fair though, Jackpotjoy’s design is consistent and great in every regard. It’s on brand, visually interesting, and easy to navigate. With constant updates, and new visuals, it never stagnates.
Jackpotjoy offers three different contact options for players - a live chat system, phone and email. All three are apparently available 24/7, as there’s no specific opening times or exceptions listed.
The site also has a very extensive FAQs section, which will answer a lot of common queries that players have. In fact, the pages found in this section are so detailed that support may not be required after a brief search.
With a wide variety of exclusive promotions, Jackpotjoy has a lot to offer players. From prize giveaways to big money jackpot games, there’s a strong range of different, exciting ideas. All are well designed (featuring Jackpotjoy’s various characters), and offer genuine value for players of all descriptions.
Plus, the site is regularly updated with new offers, ensuring returning players always have something new to explore. When it comes to promotions, Jackpotjoy is miles ahead of most sites.
Following Sun Bingo’s high profile move to Virtue Fusion, Jackpotjoy is one of the last sites using Gamesys’ bingo software. However, while the number of sites on the platform may be dwindling, the quality is still consistently high. With exclusive slot games, and exclusive bingo variants (like Take Me Out Bingo), Gamesys still offers a whole lot to Jackpotjoy players.

Mobile players at Jackpotjoy have a great deal of options for accessing the site. Jackpotjoy apps can be found in both the iOS App Store and the Android Google Play store. So far, so good.
However, the mobile experience does not live up to the Jackpotjoy name. Several promotions are completely missing on mobile, and the design is nowhere near as strong. On other sites, this would be an acceptable standard, but with Jackpotjoy, we expect a lot more. In its current form, Jackpotjoy offers a lesser experience to mobile players - that’s pretty disappointing.
With a lengthy, detailed page on Responsible Gaming (and a load of industry standard safety features), Jackpotjoy delivers a safe and secure experience for all players. If you are in need of help (for whatever reason), there are loads of useful contact links and support services available too.
When it comes to exclusive games, Jackpotjoy takes some beating. From bingo variants and rooms (Bejeweled Bingo, Bingo Royale) to slot games and scratchcards (Tiki Island, Blotto Lotto), there’s something exclusive for everyone.
In addition, Jackpotjoy also has a wide selection of free daily games for players. By visiting the site every day (and playing the game of your choice), you can earn bonuses and free spins. Most of these games are unique to Jackpotjoy too, so it’s another great addition for members.
Simply by offering unique, exclusive games, rooms and variants, Jackpotjoy differentiates itself from the vast majority of other bingo sites. It’s easy to see why it continues to be popular.
Jackpotjoy accepts all major debit/credit cards, PayPal and Paysafecard as payment options. This isn’t the biggest selection, but it will be good enough for most players. However, wagering conditions at the site might be problematic for some.
Slots bonuses need to be wagered 40x before being withdrawn, which is fairly steep. Bingo bonuses come with a 4x requirement too, which is above average nowadays. When other sites are becoming less restrictive with wagering, it makes Jackpotjoy’s requirements stick out a bit.
Jackpotjoy offers two different loyalty schemes - a Residents Club and a very exclusive VIP Scheme.
The Residents Club rewards players who have visited the site regularly over a long period of time. Residents receive exclusive promotions, and qualify for exclusive prize draws too. It doesn’t seem to offer amazing rewards, but it’s a nice bonus for players who are regular visitors to the site.
Alternatively, high value players will be invited to join the ultra exclusive VIP Club. VIPs earn regular bonuses (with no wagering requirements), gifts, high value prize draws, and promotions.
Exact conditions required to join either club are not mentioned on the site, which makes them sound even more mysterious/exclusive. According to Jackpotjoy, this is a Responsible Gaming measure (which is fair enough), but it would be nice to see how steep the requirements are to enter either Club. Still, invited players can expect to be well rewarded once they’re in.
Jackpotjoy continues to represent the best that the Gamesys platform has to offer. With a great range of promotions and exclusive games, it’s very hard to top. The only real negative about Jackpotjoy is the disappointing mobile experience, which seems to offer a lot less than the desktop version of the site. If this is updated to offer a better experience, it really would be tough to match Jackpotjoy’s quality.
