Bob's Bingo Verdict
Bob’s Bingo claims that “nobody does bingo like Bob” when in actual fact, every other brand on the LBN network does when it comes down to bingo variants, jackpot games, promotions, and loyalty. However, as Bob’s is one of the oldest LBN brands and has developed a strong fan base over the years as well as its own blog, we’d prefer to play here over most of its sister sites.

Design & Usability
The Bob’s Bingo website is laid out in an easy-to-read format using a plain white background and striking pinks and greens to highlight the menu and various sections beneath it. Bob – the brand’s bingo caller mascot – can be seen in several places on the homepage and in the logo, and a fair amount of effort has been made to give the standard Cozy Games template a personalised appearance. For example, there’s a menu tab for Bob’s blog, and a section which lets you meet some of Bob’s buddies (i.e. roomies). The welcome offers are clearly displayed, and there’s a lengthy introduction to the site that takes up the lower half of the homepage.
Software & Gameplay
Cozy Games is the software of choice for the Live Bingo Network (LBN), so Bob’s uses it too. While it’s by no means innovative or dazzling in its design, it’s secure and stable, and it also grants you access to five types of online bingo.
As Bob’s has been on the scene since 2010, the community has grown to a considerable size. Therefore, the rooms can get fairly busy. The chat hosts are easy to spot as their names are highlighted in the chat window, and they love to run chat games and get roomies talking.
There are several networked rooms and games such as the Monthly Super Jackpot.
Safety & Security
The site is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, so if you reside in Great Britain, you can play with confidence. The Trustwave certificate indicates that your identity and credit card information are kept secure during transmission, although we failed to find any mention of a random number generator that ensures fairness. Plus, there’s no eCOGRA logo.
Payments & Withdrawals
The Cashier lets you make quick deposits and withdrawals, but there are a couple of restrictions which we’re not too keen on, such as the £30 minimum withdrawal requirement and the fact that you can only request one withdrawal every five days.
The payment methods are many and varied, and include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Switch, Skrill, Neteller, Boku (Pay by Mobile), and Paysafecard.
Customer Support
You can always get hold of a customer service rep when you need one as the team work 24/7, 7 days a week. You can contact them by email, live chat, telephone, or support ticket. There are also various help pages such as FAQ and How to Play. Plus, there’s a sticky tab which keeps the live chat launch button within easy reach at all times.
Bonuses & Promotions
When you join Bob’s Bingo, you can pick up £15’s of BBs simply by adding a valid credit or debit card to your account when completing the registration process. You have seven days in which to use it, and while you can’t withdraw any winnings associated with it, you can carry them forward as a bonus when you become a funded player.
Like other LBN sites, Bob offers you bonuses on your first, second, and third deposit. Deposit a minimum of £10 each time, and you’ll receive 500%, 350%, and 300% respectively. There’s a wagering requirement of 4x on bingo games or 10x on slots.
Unfortunately, all of the promotions at Bob’s Bingo are the same as those found at other LBN brands, and while there’s a good selection to choose from (including social media rewards, reload bonuses, jackpot specials, and free bingo tournaments), we’d like to see something a bit different and unique.
One thing we found rather confusing is the homepage offer that says if you deposit £20, you get a £10 Love2Shop gift voucher. However, when you click on the ad, you’re taken to the sign-up page with no mention of any terms and conditions.
Device Compatibility
There’s a clickable banner on the homepage that takes you to the dedicated mobile page. It includes tabs for a range of devices, including iPhone,iPad, Nokia, Android, and Blackberry, although these aren’t strictly necessary as there’s no app to download. Simply visit the site and play via your device’s web browser.
Variety & Originality
Most of the jackpot games and rooms are linked across the entire LBN network, and while there are some standalone rooms, they use LBN’s standard naming convention. We like that there are five different bingo games to choose from, and that there’s a plentiful line-up of slots, scratch cards, and casino games, but again, these are not unique to Bob’s. There are a couple of free bingo rooms which both funded and non-funded players can access, but these fall short when compared to the best bingo sites on the Dragonfish network, for example.
Loyalty & Rewards
The four-tier loyalty scheme lets you move up the loyalty ladder by earning points each time you make a deposit. There aren’t many advantages to the system – as far as we can tell, all you get are bigger reload bonuses. On the promotions page, there are other types of rewards such as weekly cashback on your deposits and the refer-a-friend scheme.
