Hippy Bingo Verdict
Hippy Bingo is a very nice looking site. The design is fun and interesting and it stands out, plus it’s practical, apart from the occasional time when the transparency makes text harder to read. You have mobile bingo, lots of bingo types, a great welcome bonus and active chatters. The downside is that the site doesn’t do anything special. If you’re feeling groovy, give it a try and see if you can multiply that massive welcome bonus.

Design & Usability
There’s a really nice home page design at Hippy Bingo, which uses transparency and a big background image to create an open, spacious feeling. You’ll see rolling green hills with a cartoon hippy chick posing up top. The site uses 70s style fonts and colours to present their main offers and make the site welcoming.
Usability is assured through a useful top bar with links to all the main site sections. Confusingly, this changes to a vertical sidebar after you log in, but still looks and works just fine. There have been new design touches in several areas which elevate this site beyond the standard template. It’s a light, breezy, easy site. The only potential pitfall is that text can be hard to read in places.
Software & Gameplay
While Hippy Bingo uses a static lobby instead of software, this site makes more effort than others to make it visually appealing. The rooms have a little artwork of sorts and it’s easy to tell which game type is which.
The software here is a little underwhelming but it does use the main site’s background image and has useful pop-ups so you don’t miss a bonus code. You can have a very laid back game here. The hosts make an effort to get chat moving and it seems pretty busy with chatters.
Safety & Security
There is strong Trustwave security at Hippy Bingo, so your peace and love won’t be disturbed! They also have the approval of the iTech Labs for a fair, tested random number machine. The site even has a good responsible gaming section and privacy policy, so everything is to standard here.
Hippy Bingo is fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and Isle of Man Gambling Commission.
Payments & Withdrawals
Making payments and withdrawals is easy at Hippy Bingo, with a clear link at the top of the site. You pick an amount, a bonus if you’re eligible and then off you go. Withdrawing is even faster and should take just under the average of 5 days to arrive in your bank.
Hippy Bingo has a very good amount of choice for payments. Not only do they accept the major credit and debit cards, you can also use PaySafeCard, Neteller, Ukash and Boku Mobile Payments. This should cover the majority of users in one way or another.
Customer Support
You can use the side menu to find a contact page. The transparency effect does (ironically) get in the way a bit, but at least it retains the light and open feel of the site.
This site offers live chat, phone lines, email and tickets for getting in touch. These are available 24/7 and there are even FAQs. Altogether it’s plenty of ways to reach the team when needed. Ticket systems are very handy for specific but not urgent issues.
Bonuses & Promotions
You won’t find anything unique to Hippy Bingo sadly, nor do the promotions get their own artwork. However, the offers are decent and you can see the terms easily. Session bingo offers a variety of special games throughout the week, such as £30 fixed pots in the early hours and buy 5 get 1 free in Big Ben room. There is up to 20% cashback to claim each week and chat games too, but the site lacks anything really impressive.
The welcome bonus is very groovy, offering 350% on your first deposit. This is available on deposits up to £500 and only has a standard 4x wagering requirement. There’s also £15 to be claimed before you deposit at all, to try the site out.
Device Compatibility
The mobile site for Hippy Bingo is a pretty stock affair for Cozy sites, but it does look good and work nicely. You can navigate with taps and swipes and it seems to run smoothly without needing a top of the line device. Bingo is a bit limited but it’s fine for a little play around on the go.
The site does not have any bingo apps but there is a mobile page to tell you what they offer. You can reach the site through your mobile browser very easily.
Variety & Originality
Hippy Bingo has eight rooms on show but there’s also a free bingo tournament. Two rooms are special jackpot games. There’s plenty of choice of game types, including 90 ball, 80 ball, 75 ball, 50 ball and 30 ball bingo. Unfortunately, there are no special rooms just for this site.
Hippy Bingo has a lot of slot games on offer, plenty for any player to get stuck into, though again nothing unique. Plenty to see and do, just nothing you can’t find on the best bingo sites already.
Loyalty & Rewards
Hippy Bingo unfortunately lacks a VIP scheme. They offer a very basic loyalty programme, where you can earn points for spending and later convert them to credit. These are awarded at a rate of 1 point for £1 spent on bingo. 100 points are worth £1.
There is no mention of advancement here or special rewards for high rollers, though they may exist. The site does claim to offer occasional bonus codes and credit to all members.
