Dino Bingo Review

Updated Nov 27th 2018 By Bret Allen

Dino Bingo greets you with some fun prehistoric artwork and friendly text, built around the familiar Cassava Enterprises layout (as seen on sister sites Bingola and Angry Bingo), with Dragonfish software powering the games. The site looks great, but is the experience within roaring with life or long extinct?

Dino Bingo Verdict

Dino Bingo is an interesting site, where you not only get a fun theme but plenty of artwork to go with it. The theme doesn’t just stop after the home page, though much of the site is taken directly from Cassava’s usual template. There are plenty of jackpots and a good slot selection too, so everyone will find something here, provided they can deposit in the first place.

Design & Usability

You’ll find a fantastic looking site when you arrive at Dino Bingo, with an exploding volcano and island full of treasure in the background. The site mascot is a pink, lady dinosaur called Dame Bella who brings us ‘Jurassic jackpots’. Overall it’s fun and welcoming, plus the site’s text supports that. Nevertheless, you’ll quickly spot the usual template to the layout.

Navigation is simple and some dropdown menus help to reduce your number of clicks. Account information is found instantly at the top right. The help section is easy to find and each bingo game has a little explanation, great for absolute beginners.

Software & Gameplay

You’ll use Dragonfish software when stomping into action on Dino Bingo, well established software which should run smoothly on the majority of machines. The lobby has more bespoke prehistoric art and access to everything on one screen; account options, depositing, promotions, slots and tabs for bingo.

The bingo itself has an earthy, brown colour scheme and a nice, big ticket buying section. Chat has a good share of the screen and quick buttons for chat lingo. Though roomie numbers seem low, you should find a good host and some games pretty easily.

Safety & Security

Like most Cassava sites, Dino Bingo is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and is a member of the Gibraltar Betting and Gambling Association. They have the eCOGRA logo, so they have the backing of this influential third party site in terms of fairness and safety. There is a fair play section which explains more about this.

Dino Bingo makes their privacy policy clear and has thorough responsible gaming guidelines, including links to helpful organisations like Gamcare. Payments are protected by encryption, though some more details on this would be nice.

Payments & Withdrawals

Dino Bingo uses a pop-up cashier system which can annoy some but it’s pretty easy to use. You simply go through a list of options, guided by clear icons. There’s the option to use phone or wire transfer, too. Withdrawals are painless too, using the same system. They seem to take the average of 3-5 working days to be processed.

Unfortunately, this site suffers a lot when it comes to payment methods. They only accept standard MasterCard and Visa cards and prepaid PaySafeCard for online payments. Players who use e-wallets like Skrill or Neteller will struggle here.

Customer Support

The support options at Dino Bingo are good, though they only offer two of the big three (or perhaps two and half). They have a 24/7 phone line and email support, but no live chat system. The ‘half’ comes from the fact that they do have a help room built into chat, but this is a bit of a pain to get to and isn’t as efficient or easy as true live chat.

Email response times seem to be good and the team have a good reputation for helpful service.

Bonuses & Promotions

You’ll find a big welcome bonus at Dino Bingo, offering 300% on your first deposit, capped at a modest £60.
(300% Bonus: Non-funded players only. Offer valid once per player until further notice. Min dep. £5. Max bingo bonus £60. No code required. Wagering requirements: 4x Bonus & 4x Deposit. Bonus for bingo games only. Full T&Cs apply. 18+ only).

The bonuses don't stop there; they'll offer promotions with your second and third deposit.

Deposit at least £10 for on your second deposit and grab a 150% bonus. (Significant Terms: Bonus available once only on second deposit. Bonus paid in bingo bonus funds. Use code:NEW. Min deposit £10. Maximum bonus £100. Withdrawal restrictions apply: wager 4 times the total amount of the deposit + bingo bonus funds. Bonus valid for bingo games only. Full T&Cs apply).

Upon your third deposit, you can get a 100% bonus.
(Significant Terms: Bonus available once only on third deposit. Bonus paid in bingo bonus funds. Use code:MONEY. Min deposit £10. Maximum bonus £100. Withdrawal restrictions apply: wager 4 times the total amount of the deposit + bingo bonus funds. Bonus valid for bingo games only. Full T&Cs apply).

Otherwise, you’ll find a small but interesting mix of promotions here. They all follow the dinosaur theme, such as ‘Cash-o-saurus’ guaranteed jackpots during the day. Through the jackpot offers are good, they are lacking in interactive promotions.

Device Compatibility

Dino Bingo unfortunately lacks a mobile information page and has no app version. It would be nice to have a little more information or some kind of incentive to try it out. To be fair, they are living in the past!

Fortunately, you can access the site via mobile or tablet on your browser. The Dragonfish software is well optimised for this job and should present no problems. Playing bingo is great on this platform, as all the optional items like chat are given their own sliding windows, so you won’t have to squint.

Variety & Originality

Dino Bingo has themed rooms such as Lizard’s Lair, which always makes a site more fun and interesting. You’ll find a mixture of ticket prices and card limits. On the downside, the number of rooms is a little low, with most of the rooms only being open at certain times for jackpot purposes. You’ll find both 90 ball and 75 ball, plus a 5-line variant.

Overall there’s no shortage of special jackpots to aim for, but not much day to day choice. There are free bingo rooms and also a newbie room, all with dino artwork. They go to a lot of effort to feel different from other sites, though there’s nothing exclusive per se.

Loyalty & Rewards

Dino Bingo uses the Diamond Club loyalty scheme which you’ll see on other sites. This is a five-tier system which is make nice and clear on the site; deposit £50 or more to move to Bronze, £500 to get to Silver and so on. Each new rank has new benefits, such as free spins, deposit bonuses and special products. You can buy all these through the diamond shop.

While this isn’t a very exciting scheme, it offers a lot more for advancement than a typical reward points system. You’ll also find some VIP bingo rooms.
