Scrummy Bingo Verdict
Scrummy Bingo is a slightly disappointing site in that the home page and theme are chock full of originality and fun, but the actual mechanics of the site are the standard Cozy Games cookie-cutter selection (pun intended!). Some good hosting and the fun vibe of the site go some way to rescuing Scrummy Bingo from mediocrity and those new to Cozy sites will still find plenty to discover.

Design & Usability
It’s great to see a bold theme and Scrummy Bingo is no exception, with a cake logo and theme which is seen all over the home page. Everything down to the welcoming text on home page talks about delicious deals and tasty games. The home page ads are nicely animated and all feature the same cake and chocolate art style. A very fun, welcoming site.
Navigation is great here. The usual top bar is moved to the very top, which seems to make a bit more room on the page. You have floating buttons for live chat and social media on each page and account details are just a click away.
Software & Gameplay
Scrummy Bingo uses Cozy software, so it may be recognisable to many players. As expected this results in a lack of originality, but you can expect good quality and compatibility. The pink and yellow colour scheme is a little jarring but at least it suits the site. The bingo readout is a little drab but overall this is good software, though the chat window could be bigger.
The bingo is fun here with some good prize pots even in the day, plus you should find some folks in the chat rooms. Hosts are on hand to answer questions.
Safety & Security
Scrummy Bingo is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Isle of Man Government. They have the iTech certification for a fair random number generator, the kit at the heart of any gambling site. Your transactions are protected by encryption and they carry the Trustwave certificate, so all this site’s security credentials are top notch.
You will find pages on responsible gambling, a privacy policy and details of their depositing system. Overall the site takes security and player welfare pretty seriously.
Payments & Withdrawals
The depositing system at Scrummy Bingo is nice and clear, essentially a form with bold buttons. You can easily choose your deposit bonus and any other special offers, if you’re eligible. A pretty user-friendly setup. Withdrawing is just as easy and takes a rapid 2-3 days. Full details can be found in the FAQ section.
Banking methods accepted include MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Switch and Solo; a thorough selection. E-wallet users have Neteller, PaySafeCard and Boku mobile options. PayPal would be an improvement but this is a decent amount of choice.
Customer Support
On the support page you’ll see that Cozy’s usual framework is there beneath the cake theme. You have the options to raise a support ticket, email by form, use live chat or phone. With this full set of options available 24/7, you’re bound to find help. It’s good to see not just the big three but the support ticket option too, which is useful for non-urgent problems.
The support staff are knowledgeable and have positive reports for their timeliness.
Bonuses & Promotions
The promotions at Scrummy Bingo are a little of a let-down, at least for those who have been to Cozy sites before. The selection is taken directly from Cozy’s usual setup and there are no special promotions to tie in with the theme, a shame when it’s so strong on the home page. Now, in fairness, the promotions are good. You’ll find offers like a big daily raffle, slots tournaments and cashback. They even have a possible prize just for logging in. A good set, just not original.
The welcome bonus goes up to a huge 500%, with 350% on the second deposit and 300% on the third. These come with a fairly standard four-times wagering requirement.
Device Compatibility
Scrummy Bingo has a handy mobile page to tell you all about compatibility. They sadly have no dedicated app, but they do support any and all devices that have a browser feature, from iPad to Nokia smartphones. You simply pop in the site’s address on your mobile or tablet browser. Better still, there’s an extra £15 bonus available when you first try the mobile site, very nice indeed.
Using Cozy’s mobile platform, the software is well designed and should run smoothly. It’s best on a larger tablet screen where possible. The only downside is lack of a chat function.
Variety & Originality
Scrummy Bingo again falls into the trap of having a fun theme, but a standard game selection taken directly from their provider. So, while newcomers will find plenty to do, veterans of sites like Landmark Bingo and Bingo Bytes won’t be surprised. They have a good bingo variety, including 90 ball, 80 ball, 75 ball and 30 ball speed bingo spread over 10+ rooms, so you’re certainly covered for choice. You can play free bingo too.
There are plenty of slots here, all good quality but no big names. The casino games are pretty standard but you have a bit of everything to try.
Loyalty & Rewards
There is no VIP programme here per se, but they do use the standard Cozy Games loyalty system. This is based on four tiers: Silver, Gold, VIP and SVIP. Each level is clearly defined by how many loyalty points you need to accrue to move up. Loyalty points are gained from playing as usual and can be converted back to cash.
The higher your tier, the bigger deposit bonus you’re eligible for. Overall, a pretty standard offering that could be improved with more incentives or something related to the Scrummy theme.
