BBQ Bingo Verdict
BBQ Bingo is a bit like a traditional British BBQ: it looks great, draws you in, you enjoy it, but you can’t stick around forever. Sooner or later the rain sets in! This is a well-made site with plenty of games and little extras, it just lacks a bit of character. You may stick around if you make friends in chat but otherwise you can get the same offerings at many other sites.

Design & Usability
The design of this site is really fun, evoking hot summer afternoons with the BBQ. They use a full-page background to show a seaside, complete with quintessential British beach huts, opposite a seagull having a sneaky BBQ kebab- complete with bingo balls of course. The site even has another background, showing a different angle, on other pages. However, they don’t have bespoke artwork for promotions.
The site layout itself is pretty standard but easy enough to use, with no glaring problems. Customer support contacts could be easier to find. Registering is very simple and won’t take you a minute.
Software & Gameplay
When it comes to software you’re guaranteed a certain level of quality from the Dragonfish brand. You get a busy lobby with all the latest offers on display, so you’ll never miss a promotion here. They also use a bespoke background, but it’s a little pixelated.
The bingo games themselves look very good, plus they manage to find space for bingo, chat and mini games without much compromise. Chat here seems to be busy at most times, plus you’ll easily find a host and some games. Great to see chatters.
Safety & Security
You have a full set of credentials here. BBQ Bingo is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and the Government of Gibraltar. The site also has good security in the form of SSL encryption to protect your transactions.
The site has a privacy policy, fair play policy and a responsible gaming policy all on display. You can also rest assured as to fairness thanks to the eCOGRA seal of approval.
Payments & Withdrawals
BBQ Bingo accepts a good variety of payment methods. You can pay online, by wire transfer or phone. They accept MasterCard and Visa, or there’s Neteller, PaySafeCard, PayPal and EntroPay. Only a couple of popular methods are missing and PayPal itself is enough for most UK users.
The depositing system is nice and quick here, using a pop-up cashier. Waiting times seem to be a little over average, however.
Customer Support
BBQ Bingo’s help section starts out with some basic FAQs and guides for brand new players. There are also chat guidelines which should be useful for those who are new to online chat.
Clicking through to the contact section gives you a choice of email or phone. The phone line is 24/7 and toll free in the UK, which is great. Though they have no live chat, you can visit a help room in bingo chat to get some answers. Staff are quick to help but don’t come across as all that knowledgeable.
Bonuses & Promotions
BBQ Bingo opens with a handsome welcome bonus of 300% (actually 200% for bingo and 100% for slots). You can get up to £105 but it’s split between bingo and other games. There’s a four-times wagering requirement on your bingo bonus, but a hefty eighty-times on the other.
Other site promotions are pretty standard and you’ll see them elsewhere, but there is plenty to do. They have seasonal offerings such as daily guaranteed jackpots in December, plus real money prizes over the weekends. There are plenty of special jackpots, but nothing especially creative.
Device Compatibility
BBQ Bingo has a good mobile site, but it is a stock template. You don’t really get a ‘BBQ Bingo’ experience here, but you do get a really good set of mobile games that work smoothly. A lot of thought has gone into the design, adding elements like chat so mobile users can keep up.
The site could use a mobile page to explain what they offer to new users, plus they have no apps. You can access the mobile site just by using your mobile or tablet browser.
Variety & Originality
The selection here is pretty good, with a mixture of 90 ball, 75 ball and 5-line rooms. While some more types would be good, you have a fair mix of ticket prices and jackpots. You can also find a set of daily, weekly and monthly jackpot rooms, plus four free bingo games. All in all, plenty to see and do, just nothing unique to this site.
The slots selection is also strong and while other bingo sites may have more, the quality here is consistently high.
Loyalty & Rewards
BBQ Bingo uses a standard loyalty plan which provides some rewards for those who spend a fair bit, but doesn’t really cover VIP elegance. This is a four-tier programme which you rise through by depositing, to earn jewels.
Rising through the tiers grants you some nice extras, such as cashback on slots, cashback on bingo and free spins. You also gain access to some free bingo games and you get tickets for a big 10k bingo game. Nice offerings, but perhaps not enough to make you spend a lot.
