Butlers Bingo Verdict
Across the board, Butlers Bingo is a fairly decent bingo site. It does majorly lack in exclusives though (both games/rooms and promotions), and this really hurts the site. Still, if you’re new to the Microgaming network, paying the charming Butler a visit is probably going to be worth your time.

Design & Usability
Butlers’ titular Butler is featured heavily throughout the site, and this actually benefits the design a lot. He’s a strong character that supports the brand well, while making the various artwork across the site a little more interesting. The light purple and gold colour theme looks pretty good too.
Usability is good on Butlers Bingo too, as the simple layout helps users navigate the site quickly and easily. It’s nothing new or exciting, but keeping it simple is usually the right decision for the player.
Software & Gameplay
Butlers Bingo is powered by Microgaming software, and is owned by Broadway Gaming, meaning it shares a network exclusive room with sites like Dotty Bingo. Microgaming sites have a decent selection of rooms and games, but aside from software exclusive bingo variant Immortal Romance, there’s not a great deal to shout about.
Our full review of Microgaming’s software, where we fully explore and examine the software, is coming soon.
Safety & Security
Butlers Bingo is fully licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, so Safety & Security is never going to be a concern for Butlers players. Players looking for further reassurance can also view pages dedicated to Responsible Gaming and Security on the site.
Payments & Withdrawals
Debit/Credit Cards, Paysafecard, Skrill and Neteller are all supported by Butlers Bingo, giving players a good variety of payment options to choose from.
Wagering conditions are a concern on Butlers though. When a player has accepted a bonus, they must wager it 5x (or 50x if playing on slot or casino games) before being able to make a withdrawal. This is pretty steep when compared to other sites out there, and it’s a bit disappointing to see Butlers players being restricted in this manner.
Customer Support
With live chat, email and a contact form listed on the site, Butlers Bingo has a decent selection of contact options for players to use. However, there doesn’t appear to be a phone option, which seems like a weird thing to not include.
There is also an FAQ section on the site, which is pretty exhaustive. Every question is answered in-depth, and there’s a few Butler’s Tips which add a bit of extra flavour.
Bonuses & Promotions
Promotions at Butlers Bingo are a little lacking. They mostly involve jackpot games which run daily, weekly, or at the end of every month. There’s plenty of value on offer, but it’s not the most thrilling of offerings.
Another problem is that none of the promotions on the site are exclusive. All of them can be found at other Microgaming sites (including Dream Bingo and Dotty Bingo), so their value decreases for players with accounts at multiple sites. It’s a shame, as Butlers’ strong brand could be better represented here.
T&Cs: 18+, 5x bingo, 40x casino wagering required before withdrawal (game weighting applies), 7 day expiry for free spins, Max bet 6.25 until wagering requirement completed, T&Cs apply.
Device Compatibility
One major positive about Butlers Bingo is the fully responsive, HTML5 design of the site. It makes the site playable on multiple devices, and it looks great on both mobile and tablet. All of the site’s features are included on mobile too. App versions of the site are missing in both the iOS and Android stores though.
Variety & Originality
With nine different rooms (including the Microgaming exclusive Immortal Romance bingo variant) and a decent range of slot and casino games, there’s a fair bit of variety for players at Butlers Bingo.
However, nothing is exclusive to the site, meaning players with accounts at other Broadway Gaming sites will have seen it all before. One exclusive room or game could have tied neatly into Butlers’ brand too, but there’s nothing currently on the site to shout about.
Loyalty & Rewards
Butlers uses a fairly standard four tier VIP system to encourage players to revisit the site and continue depositing. Throughout the week, VIPs receive exclusive offers (like Free Spins every Friday) which encourage players to continue visiting the site and play.
There’s also a VIP Slot Tournament which plays every week. There’s £4,000 up for grabs, and it’s only open to players in the top two VIP tiers – that’s a pretty good reward.
However, the remaining rewards feel a bit lacklustre, especially when the actual figures needed to become a top level VIP are unclear. Outside of the Slot Tournament, there doesn’t seem to be many “VIP only” offers or benefits to players.
