What we recommend instead
Bingo Funland Verdict
As we’ve stated, when it comes to Bingo Funland the parts that are good are very good, but the parts that are bad are simply awful. We wouldn’t begrudge anyone from playing online bingo here, but we probably wouldn’t recommend anyone do so either.
Design & Usability
When it comes to the design, Bingo Funland deserves a lot of credit. The theme they chose is just pure fun, as it priorities what’s playful above all else. Somehow they managed to design the whole site in such a way that it makes people want to log on to play a game or two. When you factor the fun nature of Bingo Funland with the silly graphics used, it’s clear why this site is appealing to upstart players.
The design isn’t just gimmicky though, for example, the toolbar is placed right at the top of the page. This allows the players to start playing in just a matter of clicks, it’s that simple. The only part of the site that is lacking is the “Help” page, as it’s a bit underwhelming, with text being placed unevenly and largely being difficult to read.
Software & Gameplay
Software and gameplay is a top priority at Bingo Funland, so you can be sure that once you enter a room you’ll never be alone. The rooms are always full, which is why a lot of people love the platform. The worst thing about playing a bingo match is waiting for people to join in, a problem that this online bingo brand has worked to alleviate.
Safety & Security
The website’s security is on point thanks to the fact that the Great Britain Gambling Commission (GBGC) licenses it. Thanks to this Bingo Funland doesn’t have to worry about any safety or security problems. Also, the website has eCOGRA approval, which means that a third-party regularly selects and approves the security operations of the platform.
The only real problem we’ve faced while using Bingo Funland was that we found it to be quite hard to find the information regarding the site’s commitment to fair play.
Payments & Withdrawals
The payment and withdrawal processes at Bingo Funland are easy to grasp, but players can only manage their money through a Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, EntroPay, Neteller, Paysafecard, or PayPal account though.
The worst thing about bankroll matters at Bingo Funland is the fact that withdrawing your money can take up to 10 days. There really is no excuse for such a lengthy wait time in this day and age.
Although the brand is relatively small, the customer support service at Bingo Funland is actually very well thought out. The FAQ is very helpful, but if you need a little more information then you can just contact them through email or phone. The only real issue here is the lack of live chat help, but outside of that there’s really nothing wrong with Bingo Funland from a customer support perspective.
Bonuses & Promotions
This is where Bingo Funland shines the least. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of free play to be found here, there is a deposit-based bonus in effect in which you can deposit your first £10 and you’ll receive an extra £20, but outside of that there really isn’t anything to write home about.
That’s about it really; if Bingo Funland were to give this a chance they’d see how much a little bonus can do. Either way, the site is still very enjoyable, but because of this most of the people that aren’t interested in Bingo Funland choose another platform.
This is more of a problem with the Dragonfish Network than with Bingo Funland, since mobile play has been recurring issue at sites like Snowy Bingo and Spy Bingo. Most of the Dragonfish Network platforms hope to make a jump to the small screen, but in the end most of them are forced to stick to desktop play due to lack of options.
Luckily though, Bingo Funland is not like the others, it actually is compatible with most, if not all, mobile devices. The mobile site may not be spectacular, but to at least have the option to play on the go certainly stands for something.
Variety & Originality
Bingo Funland is about as straight forward it gets, so basically there isn’t much originality to be found here. The usual suspects in 90-ball bingo and 75-ball bingo make an appearance, but the lack of variety in game variants is a clear problem. For example, there’s only a small handful casino slots available, which really is quite disappointing considering what the top bingo sites are offering up.
Loyalty & Rewards
When it comes to its VIP programme, Bingo Funland definitely didn’t overlook things. There are four different levels that reward the most loyal players, each of them offering plenty in exchange for earned loyalty points.
The points a player gathers through the VIP programme can be used to earn cash back, grab birthday bonuses, snap up re-deposit bonuses, or to simply play some free bingo bonus games.
