What we recommend instead
United Colours of Bingo Verdict
United Colours of Bingo has decent prizes and ticket prices, some good value-for-money promotions, and an impressive array of online bingo variants. However, it’s not got anything unique to offer previous or existing customers of other LBN/BBN brands.

Design & Usability
The red, white, and blue colour scheme used by United Colours of Bingo is likely meant to represent the colours of the Union Jack, although there’s not a flag in sight. Instead, there are plenty of images featuring 20 and 30-somethings with their arms in the air and huge smiles on their faces.
The site makes use of the usual Cozy Games template to give you a clear members log-in area at the top-right where you can also create a new account, a menu which lets you move between the Bingo, Slots, Promotions, Support, Mobile, and Winners pages, and a banner which introduces you to the latest welcome offers.
One thing that’s noticeably missing is an introduction to the brand which we feel should be addressed.
Software & Gameplay
United Colours of Bingo uses Cozy Games software. This means that all of the bingo rooms are networked, but this has the advantage of meaning that they’re busy and usually boast big jackpots. The selection of rooms is presented as one long list, and we think it would be better if this list could be sorted by game variants. You can choose from 90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball, 50-ball, and 30-ball bingo games, scratch cards, and slots, and you can also play around with custom options such as the daub and pattern colours.
Safety & Security
The site is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and the Isle of Man Gambling Commission. A company called Trustwave provides the SSL certificate which is used to encrypt and, therefore, protect players’ sensitive data, and iTech Labs have independently tested the random number generator which ensures that United’s games are fair.
Payments & Withdrawals
The Cashier lets you make quick deposits and withdrawals, but there are a couple of restrictions which we’re not too keen on, such as the £30 minimum withdrawal requirement and the fact that you can only request one withdrawal every five days.
The payment methods are many and varied, and include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, Switch, Skrill, Neteller, Boku (Pay by Mobile), Paypal, and Paysafecard.
Customer Support
Although United Colours of Bingo operates a 24/7 live chat service, and you can also get in touch with the customer support team by raising a support ticket or using the email contact form, there’s no telephone number listed on the “Contact Us” page. If you choose to go down the email route, you can expect a response within the hour.
Bonuses & Promotions
Because United Colours of Bingo is a member of the BBN network and not LBN, its welcome offers are slightly different. You can claim a £20 no-deposit bonus and a 400% first deposit bonus rather than a £15 no-deposit bonus and a 500% first deposit bonus. To claim the free £20 bonus, you’ll need to complete the registration form and validate your account with your credit or debit card. The no-deposit bonus let you win up to £20 in bonus funds, which you cannot withdraw until a) you’ve made at least one deposit and b) you’ve met the 8x bingo or 20x wagering requirements. It’s also only valid for seven days.
You can claim the 400% welcome bonus worth up to £50 when you make an initial deposit of £5 or more, and before you can withdraw any associated winnings, you must meet the 4x bingo or 10x slots wagering requirements.
Funded players are entitled to free entry to the Free Bingo Room, where five games offering £4 bonus prize pots take place every hour, around-the-clock.
There are also seasonal networked promotions which are listed on the Promotions page, and at the time of writing, the Massive Summer Giveaway Prize Draw is giving members a chance to win a £500 bonus, a Kindle Fire, a 32” TV, and a 7-night holiday in Spain by collecting prize draw entries via re-deposit bonus codes.
Device Compatibility
There’s a dedicated Mobile page which you can visit via the main menu, and it explains that mobile players can enjoy United’s games by visiting the site in their mobile browser.
Variety & Originality
The rooms and games at United Colours of Bingo are the same as all other BBN and LBN brands, which leaves United Colours of Bingo significantly lacking in originality. On the plus side, there are five different bingo variants to choose from, and a reasonable amount of slots, although the latter are made by Cozy Games and Eyecon rather than big-name manufacturers like NetEnt and Microgaming.
Loyalty & Rewards
Information on the loyalty scheme is tucked away within the FAQ, and it explains that players are automatically enrolled on sign-up. As you earn loyalty points by playing eligible games at United Colours of Bingo, you’ll be able to move through the four loyalty levels as you meet each of the pre-defined targets. The main problem with the scheme is that it only mentions deposit bonuses as the key benefits, which is not likely to impress players who are hoping to find a proper VIP programme.
