Shampoo Bingo Verdict
Shampoo Bingo would benefit from a major overhaul to make its branding more apparent and inviting. We’d also like to see some exclusive games and offers introduced in the hopes that the site would start to attract more players.

Design & Usability
Although a name like Shampoo Bingo is more likely to appeal to women than men, the website tries its best to make everyone feel welcome by using a half-pink, half-blue colour scheme. There are various hairdressing references and images dotted around the homepage such as hairdryers, scissors, and combs, but the lack of text means it fails to convey much of what’s on offer, which means you have to start hunting around to find out the types of games you can play, etc.
One thing that caught our attention immediately for all the wrong reasons was the glaring spelling mistake in the main ad banner, which boasts a “£1 Million Covreall Jackpot”. Plus, when we tried to click through to view Shampoo’s social media pages, we found that the Facebook link was broken, and the Twitter account hasn’t been updated since October 2015. Next, we paid a visit to the “Winners” page which contains some impressive prize wins, but as the list includes all of the bingo sites on the Dragonfish network, it’s impossible to tell which winners are members of Shampoo Bingo and which aren’t.
Software & Gameplay
Shampoo Bingo utilises Dragonfish software, which allows the lobby and games to load nice and quickly, and provides you with a seamless, glitch-free gaming experience. Disappointingly, the lobby uses the bog-standard Dragonfish layout and no Shampoo branding bar the tiny logo on the left-hand side.
The lobby lets you view the games by type (Bingo, Slots, and WOW), and when you click each one, you can drill down further. For example, the Bingo tab is split into six different sections and includes Daily Jackpots, Money Makers, Free, and 24/7.
When you enter a room, you’re invited to view the tutorial, and when you’re ready to get started, you’ll find that purchasing tickets and pre-buying tickets, playing side games, and participating in the chat is nice and easy thanks to the quick buttons provided.
For us, Shampoo’s rooms are way too quiet, and the chat hosts weren’t even bothering to try and get any conversation going.
Safety & Security
Shampoo Bingo is regulated and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the government of Gibraltar. The site uses SSL encryption to protect your transactions and personal data, and displays an eCOGRA certificate for fair play and safety, as well as a section on responsible gaming.
Payments & Withdrawals
The Cashier loads in a pop-up window and is easy to use, although the window could be bigger. Withdrawing funds is a simple enough process, but it can take three to five working days for your funds to reach your chosen account.
The payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Paysafecard, Entropay, Neteller, and Paypal.
Customer Support
The “Contact Us” tab on the main menu takes you to the customer support page where you can read up on “How to Play”, look at the frequently asked questions, and view the different support methods. Sadly, there’s no live chat service, but you can visit the Help Room to talk with an agent 24/7, ring the toll-free telephone number between 9 AM and 1 AM from Monday to Sunday, or send an email.
Bonuses & Promotions
Unlike some Dragonfish sites, Shampoo doesn’t offer a no-deposit bonus. However, when you become a funded player, you can qualify for a 150% welcome bonus (of up to £100) when you make your first deposit of £10 or more. The wagering requirements are a reasonable 4x bingo versus a rather horrific 99x instant games.
The other promotions are a carbon copy of multiple Dragonfish brands including Bingo Cove and Moon Bingo. So, while there are some reasonably exciting jackpot games (e.g. £1,111 Zodiac Bingo, The Big £10k, and Sure Win), there’s nothing to inspire you if you’ve seen the same promotions elsewhere.
Device Compatibility
You can play at Shampoo Bingo on your mobile or tablet by entering the website’s URL into your browser or searching for it on Google or any other internet search engine. It’s compatible with the majority of devices, and provides an equivalent experience to playing on your desktop. However, it would be helpful if there was a dedicated mobile page explaining all of this.
Variety & Originality
The bingo variety includes 90-ball and 75-ball games with the addition of one 5-line room, as is the case with most Cassava Enterprises sites. There are plenty of rooms to choose from, and the cost of tickets ranges from a penny to £1. There are six free rooms including one for new players and another for VIPs. There are multiple jackpot rooms to choose from, although none of them are unique to Shampoo.
There’s a good range of slots, scratch cards, and casino games including Fluffy Favourites, Flowers, Superman, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest, Pixies of the Forest, Live Roulette, Baccarat, Ocean Fortune, and Cash Cuisine.
Loyalty & Rewards
The Loyalty page details the four-tier loyalty system which is common to many Cassava brands. Every £1 you deposit gets you twelve loyalty points, and you only need two points to reach the second tier. However, if you want to reach the top level, you’ll need to accumulated 2,400 points.
At the higher levels, you gain greater amounts of cashback, access to more free rooms, and complimentary cards for The Big £10k game. But, there are no exclusive perks for Shampoo members.
