Smooch Bingo Verdict
Smooch Bingo is a strong site which is bland in some places and rich in others. They are only lacking a stronger theme and some more unique games to really stand out from the crowd. You still get a good game here and there’s a loyal chat community, making for a fun experience.

Design & Usability
Smooch Bingo has a very light and airy feel, with a blue and sparkly colour scheme. They have some scrolling offers and use photography rather than drawn artwork. The site’s graphics are nice enough but lacking some polish.
Getting around is easy thanks to a standard navigation bar and all the usual links. You can easily find their social media buttons on the same bar. Important info is at the bottom. They have a handy timer at the top right to tell you when a game’s about to start. You’ll see the Cassava foundations of the site when you go through the login process.
Software & Gameplay
Veteran bingo players will recognise Dragonfish software when they open the bingo lobby. The front page has been taken over slightly with big ads, though that does make some sense as offers are all in one place. Bingo games are arranged by tabs and it isn’t immediately obvious how many there are- look around a bit.
The bingo console is good, with a clear game and nice, big chat window. Finding roomies and hosts is easy (partly thanks to the lobby telling you where hosts are) and the Smooch Bingo community vibe seems to come through.
Safety & Security
You’ll find all the right credentials at Smooch Bingo. They are licensed and regulated by the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner and Great Britain Gambling Commission. You have a secure connection with the site, guaranteed by Godaddy. They also have the important eCOGRA seal of fairness.
The site has clear pages for responsible gaming, privacy and fair play, all of which should give players some peace of mind. They have useful guidelines on avoiding problem gambling and links to organisations like Gamcare.
Payments & Withdrawals
Smooch Bingo has a standard pop-up cashier window, which is easy to use thanks to a system of icons. You can withdraw the same way and it’s very straightforward, plus the support number is there on the page to remind you.
You have a few payment options here including wire transfer, debit or credit card, such as MasterCard and Visa. You can also use PaySafeCard, EntroPay, Neteller or PayPal, which is a good strong selection of e-wallet services. Great to see a varied set there.
Customer Support
You have three support options at Smooch Bingo. They have a 24/7 phone line which is toll free for the UK and an email address. You can also use the Help room within bingo to ask questions, though this is rather a poor cousin of actual live chat support.
Finding the contact page is a little tricky, as the main help button on the top bar actually takes you to a kind of getting started guide. Though this is confusing, the guide is handy for newcomers. It just needs a section or a link to the actual help page, which you can reach from the bottom of the site.
Bonuses & Promotions
The promotions at Smooch Bingo are fairly varied, from a chance to win free spins to a guaranteed share of 10k in a big bingo game. You’ll find Saucy Sundays where free bingo is combined with a chat quiz, so keep an eye out for that and other events if you like a laugh in chat. The promotions could use some nicer artwork, but they are fun.
The welcome bonus here is 200% up to a maximum of £100, so most will deposit £10 and get £20 free. This is a little limited and comes with a hefty six-times wagering requirement, way above the average.
Device Compatibility
Smooch Bingo is lacking a page to explain their mobile offering and they do not have any dedicated apps. However, they do have mobile bingo; you can access the site via your mobile browser, which should work for most platforms.
The mobile site is actually very good, using Dragonfish which provides a very smooth and well thought out mobile bingo. You have a big chat window and it’s easy to buy tickets.
Variety & Originality
Smooch Bingo offers over fourteen bingo rooms, but many of them are only open at certain times. They suffer slightly in terms of variety, with a choice of 90 ball and 75 ball. These are no extra game types, though free bingo is sometimes offered. You have a choice of ticket price from 1p to £3. Most of these rooms are seen on all Cassava sites.
The slot selection is also pretty standard, but there are plenty. You won’t run out of games to try and some of the licensed games like Ghostbusters are very good. You’ll also see some progressive jackpots here.
Loyalty & Rewards
The VIP system at Smooch is split into loyalty rewards and an actual VIP club, both of which are part of the ‘xCite’ programme. Loyalty levels are calculated monthly and rise from Rookie to Champ, unlocking more cashback, spins, free bingo rooms and more. This system has plenty of good rewards and as ever, you can swap loyalty points for credit.
The main VIP club is invitation only and has three tiers. Here you’ll see classic VIP treatment, with bigger bonuses, seasonal gifts and VIP events. There are even VIP only chat parties. A very rewarding system.
