What we recommend instead
Spice Bingo Verdict
From theme all the way through to performance, Spice Bingo has come a long way from where it started out in 2013. A much-needed redesign and the addition of more slot games has revived this online bingo site. While the game selection is still limited, the loyalty and security measures put in place are anything but. With that in mind, we’d recommend giving Spice Bingo a look, if only to see what the VIP Club has to offer.

Design & Usability
Adopting a new and improved theme, Spice Bingo has embraced its UK license with a nod to the London skyline across the home page. With a predominantly blue colour palette, the uncomplicated theme is effective in getting players to where they want to be – playing bingo!
We all know that in the current bingo clime, themed bingo sites are pretty commonplace, with most working to give you a reason to buy tickets. While Spice Bingo has improved their theme, it still isn’t strong enough for us.
Design wise Spice Bingo does have something going for it, as the site is pleasantly simple – it can’t but help but be functional. You can see everything from the latest games to the latest winners in just a few easy clicks.
Software & Gameplay
Being honest, there isn’t a lot to keep you coming back time and time again – especially compared to other sites. The main thing that lets Spice down is the minimal bingo rooms.
With only five rooms and only one of those playing all day, the bingo rooms aren’t that busy. However, it can mean that there are plenty of chances to win and ticket prices are much more reasonably priced.
The slots selection, however, has grown considerably. It seems like Spice are focusing more on the IG crowd, so if you’re a fan of the classics like Fluffy Favourites or any of the Eyecon games, you’re in luck.
Safety & Security
Spice Bingo has approval from the UK Gambling Commissions (UKGC), which as most bingo insiders will know, is one of the most sought-after licenses around.
When it comes fair play, we found information related to such to be scarce, but it is addressed within the on-site FAQ, as Spice Bingo state that they “adhere to their strict regulations on fair gaming”.
Payments & Withdrawals
Spice Bingo allows players to make deposits and withdrawals using your debit/credit card
Paysafe Card, Pay by Mobile and PayPal. Withdrawal wait time is pretty standard, with a 72 hour pending period and then 1-3 working days.
Customer Support
Customer support at Spice Bingo is pretty good. Firstly, you have a page full of easy-to-read FAQs, which answer most basic questions a newbie may have. Then you have Live chat, however, this isn’t always open, which is disappointing.
You can also call the customer support team between 9.30am and 6pm (excluding bank/public holidays) and there’s also email support available. Overall, the customer service isn’t groundbreaking, but there are plenty of options.
Bonuses & Promotions
Any bingo site worth its salt (or spice) knows that promotions and bonuses are a foundation of the industry. Saying that, Spice Bingo may not have got the memo.
Since October 2017, all sites on the 15 Gaming network no longer have bingo bonuses available and will only accept real cash to play in the rooms. You can, however, claim slot spins bonuses with the Mega Wheel or loyalty points that are converted to IG Bonus.
However, some of the promotions Spice offers are good, like their Free Bingo Room which is open 9am-10am & 9pm-10pm and their various cashback offers.
Device Compatibility
Compatibility wise, you’ll find that Spice Bingo functions well on a number of different devices and runs really smoothly on mobile. The site operates under instant play means, which means that as long as you have a HTML5 compatible web browser on your device, you can easily access all that Spice Bingo has to offer.
Basic and to the point, the Spice Bingo mobile platform avoids overcomplicating matters, which is great to see.
Variety & Originality
Variety is the spice of life, but unfortunately, Spice Bingo doesn’t live up to its name in this case. While we’re not blown away by Spice Bingo, the site is easy to use and has a reasonable selection of slot games.
Where it really falls down is the bingo rooms. With only one game open most of the day, Spice Bingo doesn’t offer much for its players. However, with low visitor count, it’s probably best to keep everyone in one room. Jackpot games excluded, all players have to work with is the bog-standard choice of 75-ball bingo and 90-ball bingo.
Loyalty & Rewards
Spice Bingo really does pick up the pace when it comes to its loyalty programme, as should you be able to get past the rest of the site the VIP Club may just be something that you’ll find rewarding.
Spread across five levels (Member, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Black), we found that there were some supersized extras offered up, including Birthday Bonuses, Free Spins, and Daily Cashback.
It also seems like moving through the rankings is simply based on your deposits – which we think is fair, with 1 Kudos being awarded every £1 you spend. There’s also the option to fast track your status if you’re a VIP elsewhere.
