Welcome Bingo verdict

Online bingo has become a huge hit in 2016, which means that there are countless bingo websites popping up on the Internet attempting to get on the map. One of the many bingo brands currently in the mix is Welcome Bingo. Every bingo site needs its own “slant” as it were - and for Welcome Bingo, that is friendliness. Welcome Bingo promises to be the friendliest bingo experience in the industry. We reviewed the website upon launch and found that, disappointingly, Welcome Bingo really didn’t have anything new to offer players.

But, in the interest of fairness, let’s take another look at Welcome Bingo a year after its launch to see if it has been able to turn around the mistakes of the past.

design & Usability

Looking just at the design, there definitely isn’t anything groundbreaking about Welcome Bingo. However, it’s likely that the creators of the website intended for it to be minimalistic. All you will really see is a plain blue background and several colorful graphics smattered across it. Overall, it’s certain that the Welcome Bingo appearance is simply meant to be functional, with minimal fuss attached to it.

But at least the site does function well, with there being something to be said for that.  Everything that you need to play is found at a toolbar located at the top of the page. The buttons are “Home”, “Join Now”, “Offers”, “Bingo”, “Slots”, and “Mobile”.  Those are all the buttons you’ll need to move from page to page, so even if they look a little awkward, they do work.

customer Support

As far as customer support goes, it is all pretty standard fare when it comes to Welcome Bingo. You can talk to people that will help you solve ay issues through email, phone, and an active chat room. Adding to that, there is 24/7 access to the chat room, but the phone support lines are only open between 9am and 1am.

bonuses & Promotions

One of the things that Welcome Bingo does deserve is credit for its promotional efforts, as the brand seems to do a lot with very limited resources. The deposit match deal for the site is fairly standard - it’s £10 with a 300% matched offering. But what Welcome Bingo really has going for them is some high stakes follow up offers, like a £1,000 Facebook Giveaway.  No, they aren’t super well marketed and its promotions aren’t too flashy, but what Welcome Bingo offers certainly has some weight to it.

software & Gameplay

One thing is for sure; Welcome Bingo definitely offers plenty of bonus choice, along with excellent software and a good gameplay experience. Every room will have above average player numbers, and there are constantly chat moderators there to help you remain alert. The site uses Dragonfish as its network perfect, which isn’t perfect by any means, but it definitely does the job in our opinion.

device Compatibility

Surprisingly, even with how simple the platform is, Welcome Bingo’s mobile web-app is fairly enjoyable and fits will on a small screen. The load times aren’t great admittedly, but in general the performance is top notch. Right now, there isn’t a Welcome Bingo app, but that doesn’t really matter given how well that the web app is currently performing.

safety & Security

One thing that you won’t have to worry about is security. You can lay down a good bit of money and need have to worry, because it’s definitely one of the most secure bingo sites out there. With licensing from the Gibraltar Gambling Commission, you know you can trust this name.

Furthermore, you can be sure that the gameplay is totally fair. Using RNG software, they make sure games are random and adhere to all in-house auditing.

variety & Originality

When it comes to variety, Welcome Bingo certainly isn’t at the top of the list.  Actually, the game only offers just two variations in 90-ball bingo and 75-ball bingo.  There are definitely a lot of bingo sites out there that offer a whole lot more options for every bingo players’ taste.  They make up for it a little bit for the slot games here, but it just isn’t enough for us sadly.

payments & Withdrawals

When you become a member of Welcome Bingo, you’ll be able to manage money through Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, Maestro, Visa Delta, Electron, PayPal, EntroPay, PaySafeCard and Neteller.  That gives you plenty of options whether you like working with a classic bank or you do your banking online.

As far as the withdrawal times go, it’s pretty average. Between 4 and 7 days you should be able to get the money in your account. The deposit/withdrawal system in Welcome Bingo is fairly standard and about what you’ll find with any other Dragonfish site.

VIP Programme

If you’re looking for a VIP programme, you’re not going to find it with this platform. Better move on to the next bingo site we’re afraid.

conclusion

Welcome Bingo has areas in which it is one of the better bingo platforms out there, while there are parts of it that are seriously, seriously lacking too. When it comes to bonuses, it’s definitely one of the better brands. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of variety in the gameplay and everything is really simple on the games front. There isn’t too much to attract the eyes or make this bingo title stand out in front of the crowd either. Up and down overall, Welcome Bingo really needs to do better in the future.
