Sundae Bingo verdict

Sundae Bingo is a brand-new offering from Tau Gaming that launched in the summer of 2018. Sundae counts both online bingo and casino brands among its sister sites, including Hunky Bingo, Dabber Bingo, Kozmo Casino, and Island Jackpots, and it runs on the popular Dragonfish software platform.

Sundae boasts three bingo variants, a succulent selection of online slots, table games, and casual games, free rooms, and guaranteed jackpot games, and offers its members the chance to earn loyalty rewards through its Ace Club.

But, is Sundae Bingo quite as tasty as it sounds?

design & Usability

If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll no doubt be licking your lips at the images of ice-creams that are dotted around the site. The pastel colour scheme is befitting of the theme, and has the added benefit of looking attractive to both sexes as the blues and pinks are equally balanced.

The navigation menu is cleverly tucked away in the top-right of the site, and by clicking on it, you get a drop-down list of pages and account options including Promotions, Cashier, Rewards, Support, Free Bingo Tickets, and Withdraw.

A “Support” tab is fixed to the left-hand-side of the homepage, and when clicked, gives you access to the FAQ and contact details for the customer service team.

The log in and registration links are also easy to find, and are situated at the very top of the site above the advert for the current welcome offer.

customer Support

You can get in touch with the customer service team via telephone (N.B., calls are usually free from landlines and some mobile phones for UK players), email (N.B., you should get a response within forty-eight hours, or the live help room which appears in the chat room drop-down menu. The live help room is open around-the-clock, seven days a week. There’s also an extensive list of FAQ that cover everything from payments, withdrawals, and wagering requirements to the rewards programme, free spins, and bonuses.

bonuses & Promotions

As a new player, you may be interested in claiming the welcome package which gives you £70 of bingo tickets and ten free spins with your first deposit of £10 or above. You receive £40 of tickets for the Big Bang room and £30 of tickets for the Street Party game, and the ten free spins can be played on the popular Fluffy Favourites slot by Eyecon. You’ll need to enter the promo code listed in the welcome offer terms and conditions to claim, and the package (surprisingly) comes with zero wagering requirements!

Although the welcome offer is highly attractive, there are no other special offers available at the time of writing.

software & Gameplay

Sundae Bingo runs on 888’s Dragonfish software platform which can be found at a myriad of other online bingo brands in the UK, and is particularly newbie-friendly as it’s so easy to use. It offers three online bingo variants and plenty of side games, and also allows you to pre-buy game cards.

The chat rooms are lively thanks to the friendly and fun chat hosts, and the ticket prices are often as low as 1p. An Auto-Daub facility is also enabled by default to save you marking your own cards.

device Compatibility

The website lacks information on mobile device compatibility, and there are no Sundae Bingo mobile apps in the Apple or Google Play stores. But, as with other Dragonfish bingo sites, you can enjoy playing games on the go by logging into your account using your mobile web browser.

safety & Security

Sundae Bingo does its utmost to keep all of your details safe and secure by utilising the most advanced security and encryption technologies available. You’re encouraged to set limits on how much you can deposit as part of the operator’s Responsible Gaming policy, and the site is licensed and regulated by both the UK Gambling Commission and the Gibraltar Gaming Authority. You’ll also find the eCOGRA seal of approval in the website’s footer.

variety & Originality

90-ball, 75-ball, and 52-ball games are available in a wide choice of rooms including Last Call, Candilicious, Wonky, Blighty 90, Street Party, Number 10, and Hit 52, the majority of which are networked. You can also participate in guaranteed jackpot games such as £1,500 Tuesday Rocks, Kaching, £500 Wednesday Chic, and £10k Sunday Blast for between 5p and 50p per ticket.

Gobsmacked games allow funded players the chance to win 100 free spins, and there are three free-play rooms – Free4U (for funded and non-funded players), £250 Saucy Sunday (for depositing members only), and £1k Mondays (for funded roomies only).

In addition, there are three VIP rooms which can be accessed by members of the site’s loyalty scheme – the Ace Club.

Sundae Bingo also boasts a sizeable collection of table games, online slots, jackpots slots, and casual games including Danger High Voltage, 888 Dragons, Love Island Slingo, Bonanza, Hit Me Baccarat, 1Can 2Can, Once Upon a Dime, White Wizard Jackpot, and Mega Fortune.

Although the games are varied, the collection offers nothing above and beyond Sundae’s sister sites.

payments & Withdrawals

Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, Neteller, Entropay, and Wire Transfer are the accepted banking methods. You can deposit amounts of £5 or more and cash-out amounts of £20 and above. The mandatory 48-hour pending period for withdrawal requests can be frustrating if you want to get your hands on your winnings as quickly as possible.

VIP Programme

Members are rewarded through the Ace Club VIP scheme, which features fifteen different levels. The more you play, the more loyalty points you earn, and the higher up the levels you go. The benefits of the scheme include daily free spins, daily free bingo cards, and monthly cashback, and at the higher levels, you’ll also earn access to exclusive bingo rooms, VIP gifts, and a dedicated account manager.

conclusion

If you haven’t already joined one of Sundae’s sister sites, you should find plenty of games to keep you amused. The loyalty rewards are also pretty good, but it can take a considerable amount of money and time to reach the middle-to-high levels. On the downside, there are no unique games and very few promotions to take advantage of at present.
