There are both positives and negatives to consider before deciding whether you wish to become a fully-fledged member of Season Bingo. On the plus side, there are plenty of bonuses to take advantage of, and you can enjoy all of your favourite games on mobile devices when you’re away from home. There’s a generous amount of free and cheap bingo, and the loyalty scheme rewards you each time you top up your account. On the downside, Season desperately needs to offer more payment methods, and we also think it would benefit from more 5-line rooms, full 24/7 customer support, and faster withdrawal processing times.

Design & Usability
Season’s homepage looks very inviting thanks to its images of snow-topped wooden chalets and fir trees. The sky is filled with falling snowflakes and baubles marked with bingo ball numbers. A cheery cartoon version of Father Christmas is used in the brand’s logo, and he also appears on most of the website’s pages, alongside his reindeer. Our only concern is that the festive theme might put some potential players off, particularly in the warmer months, but as Season Bingo is open for business 365 days a year, it’s still worth signing up and taking a look around.
As Season uses Dragonfish software, the main menu has a simple layout which lets you view various pages such as Newbies, Promotions, Free, Diamond Club, and Games. There’s a prominent login area at the top-right, which lets you sign in or create an account, and once you’re logged in, you can get to your account or the lobby with a single click.
Software & Gameplay
The Dragonfish software is a breeze to use, although it currently offers just three bingo variants (90-ball, 75-ball, and 5-line). Both the lobby and cashier are easy to navigate, and the gameplay is reliable and smooth. You can play side games while in the bingo rooms, or enjoy classic table games or popular slots in their own right.
There are a couple of networked rooms, including the Fun and Free and Free Cheer rooms, but most of them are exclusive to Season. We found some of the rooms a little quiet, but others like Santa’s Grotto were filling up fast even before 8 AM. As far as we can tell, the chat hosts don’t come online until 9 AM which is a shame considering that the site offers 24/7 bingo games.

As is the case with many Dragonfish bingo sites, Season needs updating to include a dedicated mobile page. Despite a very small advert on the homepage that states you can play on mobile and tablet devices, there’s no other info. We’ve confirmed that there’s no mobile app as it seems that many online bingo and casino operators are instead choosing to use HTML5 websites, which allow mobile players to access instant-play games via their device’s web browser.
Variety & Originality
As themes go, Season Bingo is fairly original. However, not everyone wants to play at a Christmas-themed bingo site unless it’s December. It’s nice that 5-line bingo is offered as well as 90-ball and 75-ball games, but there’s only one 5-line room. In total, there are thirteen rooms to choose from which regularly open, plus dedicated jackpot rooms for each day of the week, the 1P Presents Room which opens six times a day, four VIP jackpot rooms, and two monthly rooms – the £10k Cash Cracker and Santa’s After Party.
Non-funded players can enjoy free games in the Free Ride and Fun and Free Rooms, and there are also three rooms (Welcome Gift, Free Cheer, and Reload Ribbon) for depositing players.
