Glossy Bingo is, like the name suggests, cheap and cheerful. This site will not impress any veterans, but it does provide a small and simple experience that may appeal to people who are tired of the constant buzz of larger sites. Live hosts and dependable software make up for lack of wow factor and a somewhat maze-like website. Lastly, a sense of humour crops up on various pages which makes the site more endearing.

Design & Usability
Glossy Bingo stays true to its fun theme throughout, but once you get to grips with the site you’ll see that its actually quite basic. The site can feel clunky at times and the fonts are a little fuzzy. The artwork doesn’t always stand up to scrutiny.
Having said that, there’s something to be said for simplicity. You can reach all the key places from the home page, from login at the top to quick buttons for bingo, slots and support. Navigation makes more sense once you’re logged in, but can still leave you lost. Expect pop-up windows and dead ends.
Software & Gameplay
Thanks to Microgaming software under the hood, Glossy Bingo has pretty reliable software which loads quickly. On the downside, they haven’t made the most of it compared to other sites. You’ll see immediately where Glossy have filled in the gaps.
The lobby is fairly clean, with an ad strip on one side and a few personal links (live chat, VIP rewards) on the other. Ticket purchase is clear and simple and the bingo is easy to follow. Hosts are easy to find, advising players and generally chatting.
Safety & Security
Security at Glossy Bingo is certified by eCOGRA, a leading industry standard. They also have the expected industry credentials, such as a seal of authorisation from the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission.
Payments are protected by 128-bit SSL encryption and they claim to employ state of the art firewalls. In their words, ‘Even Harry Potter could not get past this security!’
You’ll also find a clear responsible gaming policy which offers cooldowns as well as an interesting problem gambling section where you can test yourself for the warning signs.
Payments & Withdrawals
When it comes to banking, Glossy accept the standard mixture of methods which you’ll see on most sites. You can use Visa or MasterCard, both credit and debit, though MasterCard credit cards cannot be used to withdraw. Paysafecard e-vouchers are accepted as well as Skrill and Neteller e-wallet services, but no PayPal.
Withdrawals seem to take slightly above average to be processed, around 5-7 working days. The site makes no mention of bonus codes and information is thin on the ground.
Customer Support
Customer support at Glossy Bingo is a confusing affair. The support link simply gives you a contact form to fill out, which no doubt does the job, but there’s no phone number listed.
Fortunately, there is a live chat option, which revealed that the site does have a number after all. Unfortunately, responses are a little stilted.
Clicking the contact link will give you information on the team, which is a nice touch. The site definitely has the feel of a small-scale operation, which may appeal to those seeking a community vibe.
Bonuses & Promotions
Glossy Bingo has a standard but very welcoming cash match offer on your first deposit, to the tune of 250% (£10 deposit, £35 to play with). This is ideal for getting a good taste of the site. Meanwhile, expect some special daily rooms and other big bingo games.
Visit the promotions page to see promos arranged by daily, weekly, etc. The monthly tab reveals a tempting monthly jackpot bingo. The special tab mostly discusses VIP offers and chat games, so this site is a little short on bespoke promotions, but they appear to have all the standard offerings of bingo sites.
T&Cs: 18+, 5x bingo, 40x casino wagering required before withdrawal (game weighting applies), 7 day expiry for free spins, Max bet 6.25 until wagering requirement completed, T&Cs apply.
Device Compatibility
Glossy Bingo can be accessed on mobile and tablet, via the browser. They do not operate any special apps, which is a shame, but the mobile browser access is surprisingly good. In fact, in many ways, the mobile optimized site looks and feels sleeker than the desktop lobby.
Mobile view can access chat and join in chat games. Bingo is easy to follow. A very good job at condensing bingo to the small screen, but limited by game choice.
Variety & Originality
Glossy Bingo has a limited selection of games, which is something of a let-down. The games they do have are of high quality, being provided by Microgaming, but if you’re used to that selection you’ll find nothing new.
There’s a fair variety of bingo rooms, including different types (90 ball, 75 ball, speed bingo), different prize pots and ticket prices, but they all feel broadly similar. There are around 7 rooms, each with branded artwork.
The slots selection is richer, featuring some very popular titles like Immortal Romance and Lost Vegas, but still sadly limited to around sixteen slots. Instants and casino games get a fair share of space.
Loyalty & Rewards
Glossy Bingo offers a four tier VIP programme, taking you from Rising Star to Super Star. With each new tier, you gain access to extras such as birthday freebies, regular weekly deposit bonuses and free spins on certain slots. These are decent offers, though of course you’d need to wait and be invited to each tier.
Levels 4 and 5 offer free entry into special slots tournaments with a £2500 prize pool. Meanwhile, all members can gain loyalty points, worth £1 for 100.
