Celeb Bingo Verdict
Celeb Bingo is a fun site but like many, the actual content in terms of games and promotions is very standard. The unusual design is fun but won’t keep you coming back just to look at it. Thankfully the high quality of the software and games, as well as active chatters, should keep most players popping back in.

Design & Usability
Celeb Bingo has a very distinctive style, though it feels like a design that people will love or hate. The site is presented like a tabloid newspaper, with a red header and a thin, long shape. The background is covered in black and white images of paparazzi snapping celebs, plus various newspaper style columns of text. The idea is to feel like an open newspaper but it’s also a little distracting and strange. Still, points for doing something different!
The rest of the site is pretty straightforward and sticks to the usual Cassava template, except for being very thin. This may be a good or a bad thing depending on how much you like the home page. The site is certainly easy to navigate, at least.
Software & Gameplay
This UK bingo site is powered by Dragonfish software and you get the advantage of a fast, reliable setup. The lobby will load quick and looks good, even full screen. The lobby has your details on the left with a few preferences at the top, letting you choose to disable animations and tooltips if you so desire.
The bingo game is very clear to view with big, bold buttons. Finding a hosted room is easy and chat seems to be quite active here, so it’s probably a growing community.
Safety & Security
Celeb Bingo sports a full security certificate and offers SSL encryption to protect your personal data during banking. The site is also fully licensed and regulated, by the Government of Gibraltar and the UK Gambling Commission.
You have access to responsible gaming controls here and links to helpful organisations like Gamcare.
Payments & Withdrawals
This site uses a pop-up cashier which is pretty easy to follow. You can use a series of icons to make your choices. They accept wire transfers and phone banking, or you can just set up the usual online payments.
Celeb Bingo accepts a broad range of payment methods. These include debit and credit cards, Neteller, PayPal, PaySafeCard and EntroPay card. All the main types used in the UK are covered.
Customer Support
Celeb Bingo has help on hand at the top right, which will take you to a page full of bingo information. This in turn links to terms and to some FAQs which are pretty thorough. While this guide page is ideal for new players, especially those who are totally new to bingo, those looking for support will have to instead use the small links at the page bottom.
This site offers phone lines, email and chat help through the bingo chat rooms. Phones are open 9am to 1am which is good but may exclude some players.
Bonuses & Promotions
The promotions here are sadly taken straight from the usual Cassava mix, so they aren’t original at all or even themed to the site, but still there are some fun items to try out. The Late Night Show gives you guaranteed pots and a little chat party atmosphere in a limited space room. You can win free spins in Wow bingo, or try for the 10k monthly jackpot. There are several more offers, so variety is pretty good here.
The welcome bonus is split between a 200% bingo bonus and a 150% general games bonus, up to £120. It’s a good offer but note that the bingo requires a 4x playthrough (pretty standard) while the games bonus requires a mighty 80x playthrough.
Device Compatibility
You can access Celeb Bingo through your phone or tablet browser. This should work for most devices, including Blackberry and Windows phones. You can use the same login details from the main site. The mobile page is quite different to the main site, a stock offering from Cassava, but it’s very good. Clever touches like a sliding chat window make it easy to use.
The site is unfortunately missing a page to explain all this and also has no apps.
Variety & Originality
Variety is good here, with Celeb Bingo offering 90 ball, 75 ball and 5-line bingo, plus the rooms they have all feel pretty distinct. Most have special chat games to spice them up, though unfortunately no rooms here are unique to this site. There are four free bingo options and several jackpot games, so there’s always something to do.
The slot offering is strong here too, with several games having pretty advanced graphics and animations, like Ghostbusters.
Loyalty & Rewards
The VIP system here is a tiered loyalty plan. As you play you will earn jewels at a rate of 12 for £1 deposited. As soon as you start you will move from Rookie to Pro.
There are four tiers in total, which offer you access to free bingo rooms, cashback on bingo and slots, free spins and also free tickets to the big 10k bingo. They are nice offerings, not all that substantial but enough to reward your play. A true ‘VIP’ feel is still missing, however.
