Buddha Bingo Verdict
Although it boasts a unique and strangely relaxing theme, Buddha Bingo fails to stand out from the plethora of other members of the Live Bingo Network. If, however, it’s your first foray into the world of LBN and Cozy Games, and you’re looking for multiple bingo variants and slots that aren’t run-of-the-mill, you may be more than happy as a Buddha member.

Design & Usability
The best way we can describe Buddha Bingo’s website is very “Zen”. The peaceful blue background featuring Thai temples and mountains against a rising sun, and the Laughing Buddha who sits on a lotus flower holding a Magic 8 Ball in the top left corner are extremely relaxing. But once you start examining the screen, you’ll find an array of useful information regarding the brand’s blog, High Rollers Club, jackpots, and welcome bonus. The homepage makes everything easy to reach, including your account and the lobby, and we like that you can view the entire bingo games schedule without having to log in.
Software & Gameplay
The key benefit of playing at a site such as Buddha which runs on Cozy Games software is that you have access to multiple online bingo variants. At Buddha, this extends to 90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball, and 30-ball games, which you can play in ten different rooms. The daily, weekly, and monthly jackpot specials are networked, but the remainder of the rooms are for Buddha Bingo members only. There’s always a chat host present in the open rooms, and plenty of players to talk even first thing in the morning.
Safety & Security
All of your financial transactions are secured using a COMODO Secure Digital certificate, and credit card fraud prevention measures are covered by the AVS system. Buddha has pages for Terms and Conditions, Fair Play Policy, and Responsible Gaming. Plus, the site is dually licensed and regulated by the UK and Isle of Man Gambling Commission.
Payments & Withdrawals
You can make payments to your account using Solo, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Switch, Paysafecard, Neteller, and Pay by Mobile (Boku). While it’s great to see the option to pay by mobile, it’d be equally nice if Paypal and Skrill were added.
You can deposit between £5 and £500 per day, but you can request an increase by contacting the customer service team.
The minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts are £20 and £300 respectively, and you can only make one withdrawal request every five days. To us, this is too restrictive, and something that should be addressed by Buddha Bingo.
Customer Support
The customer service team is available 24/7 through a variety of contact options, including email, telephone, support ticket, and live chat. If you choose the email route, you can expect a response with one hour.
Bonuses & Promotions
Usually, LBN sites list a no-deposit bonus and welcome bonus on their promotions page, but things are done a little differently at Buddha Bingo. Both bonuses are advertised via homepage banners.
The no-deposit offer is under “Have you received a new player letter?” which, once clicked, asks you to enter a bonus code from your letter. However, it appears you don’t actually need one as we successfully signed up and claimed a free £15 bonus by adding a debit/credit card.
The first deposit bonus is easier to spot as it’s on the main banner at the top of the page. Register via this method, and you’ll receive a 350% bonus of up £500 when you deposit £10 or more, and if you haven’t already claimed the no-deposit bonus, you’ll get that too. By accepting these bonuses, you are agreeing to fulfil the 4x bingo and 10x slot wagering requirements prior to making a withdrawal request.
Buddha Bingo runs multiple ongoing promotions, including Session Bingo where you can buy ticket packages to save money, free bingo tournaments, slots tournaments, cashback, jackpot specials, and chat games. Sadly, there never seem to be any unique promotions (although you’ll find the odd seasonal offer), only LBN ones.
Device Compatibility
Although one of the homepage banners states that you can “play on mobile or tablet”, there’s no other information to explain how this works. Luckily, we’re aware that Cozy Games offer a good mobile platform which can be accessed via your mobile web browser without the need to download and install an app. So, if you’re keen to play games on-the-go, search for Buddha Bingo using your browser and register an account.
Variety & Originality
Working in Buddha’s favour are four bingo variants (90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball, and 30-ball), and the daily jackpot games that let you play for a share of £250. However, as the jackpot games run at midnight, you might want to pre-buy your cards! Having ten bingo rooms is also better than average, but there’s a distinct lack of unique games available. Rather than having free rooms, Buddha lets you play in hourly Level 1 bingo tournaments, but the prizes are pretty tiny – 50p for a full house and one free ticket for Level 2 tournaments.
The slots, casino games, and scratch cards are varied, but they’re all made by Cozy Games, and are likely to disappoint anyone looking for more well-known titles.
Loyalty & Rewards
Every £1 you spend on bingo and every £10 you wager on slots and instant games earns you one loyalty point. Loyalty points can be traded in for real cash. However, Buddha also has a special loyalty programme for players who deposit £750 in a month, which gives members Appreciation Bonuses, entry into a monthly prize draw for the chance to win one of three gift certificates worth £100 each, and special VIP reload bonuses. You lose membership of the programme if you fail to meet the minimum monthly deposit requirement for two consecutive months.
In all honesty, it’s not the worst VIP programme we’ve seen, but it’s definitely not the best, and only giving tangible rewards to members who spend £750 per month is likely to make you feel undervalued if you’re a regular player who spends less.
