Mecca Bingo offers a really strong site, which feels like a solid counterpart to their famous land-based bingo chain, not just something tacked on to keep up with competition. Though some areas need improvement, this is definitely among the higher class of bingo sites and you’ll find plenty of fun in chat and in the exclusive games.

Design & Usability
The Mecca Bingo site looks great, with their famous logo and a welcoming splash page. You’ll see their famous supporters and plenty of photography and artwork. Though the site could perhaps be a little more polished, it has a pleasing appearance and is very usable.
Scrolling down the page reveals links, social media and the help centre, along with some text to explain their safety measures. Otherwise you use a top bar to navigate as normal, with dropdown options to help you find a specific page quickly. A community page helps to introduce the site to newcomers. The site really stands out from the average bingo site.
Software & Gameplay
Mecca Bingo looks good without being cluttered. Game tabs are down the left, the games in the middle and account settings at the top. No space is wasted with big, flashy ads, which is nice to see.
The bingo rooms are neatly designed, with more space given to chat than mini-games. Chat has plenty of features, including buddies, a personal profile and mailbox. You should have no problem finding a busy room and a chat host. The bingo itself is nice and easy to use. Rooms with special rules and extras have pop-ups to tell you about them.
Safety & Security
Mecca Bingo is licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Gambling Commission and the UK Gambling Commission, so you’re in safe hands. They have a clear privacy policy and they use VeriSign security to protect your transactions.
You will find this site Gamcare certified, and they take responsible gaming seriously. You can find a section dedicated to it, part of the parent company’s Keep It Fun campaign. There’s a lot of useful information and advice here.
Payments & Withdrawals
Mecca Bingo accepts a good range of payment methods. You can use various cards like MasterCard, Visa and Maestro, or you have e-wallet options, including PayPal and PaySafeCard. Great to see a full house!
Depositing is done on the main site and should only take a few moments, thanks to some clear, quick buttons and instructions. You should find withdrawing just as easy, which takes anything from 15 minutes to 1-3 working days.
Customer Support
This site uses a contact centre system, so you’ll have to find that by scrolling near the bottom of the page. There is a FAQ hub of sorts with articles and information.
When you find the contact page, it’s a little disappointing, given the high-tech nature of the rest of the site. You have a live chat option and a telephone number (one for the UK and one if you’re calling outside the UK).
The phonelines are available 7 days a week from 8am – 8pm
Bonuses & Promotions
Promotions at Mecca Bingo include both bingo and slots. You’ll find some special jackpot games and big prize draws, which you can enter by playing certain slots. There are plenty of offers like this, each with some nice artwork and a useful guide to tell you if you can join in on mobile. They have a few regular guaranteed jackpots, so there’s always something to aim for.
New players can enjoy a £40 bingo bonus, 50 free spins and a £20 club voucher.

Device Compatibility
Mecca have a mobile page to tell you all about their mobile gaming options; look for Fun on the Run on the home page. They offer dedicated apps, but as with other Virtue Fusion sites like Gala Bingo, there is not an Android app available through the Google store (in fact, the Android section of the mobile page just goes on about the iPhone app, a bit of a mix-up there).
You can still play by simply going to the mobile site on your phone or tablet browser, fortunately. The mobile site is well made and should present no problems, but it could be improved in areas like chat.
The Apple app is very good and works a treat. Mecca also offers a unique mobile game called Emoji Bingo, a 50-ball game. Great to see something exclusive and different.
Variety & Originality
Mecca has over 22 rooms, so there’s certainly no lack of choice. Variety is above average, with 90 ball, 75 ball and 80 ball, plus a few special rooms like Cash Cubes. There is a free bingo game in 75 ball and a 1p cheap room in 90 ball, so you’ve got something for everyone. TV fans will find an X-Factor room with a fun Judges Jackpot side game, where you aim to get a full house on a number that the judges haven’t marked off. These extra touches make the site stand out.
The slot selection is smaller than some sites but includes good titles, like Rainbow Riches and Starburst. The quality is good overall.
Loyalty & Rewards
Mecca Bingo has no VIP programme to discuss, though anyone can take part in its Play Point scheme. By spending money playing bingo games, you can accumulate “Play Points”. The more you play, the more you earn!
