Fancy Bingo Verdict
Fancy Bingo is a quirky site in many ways. It has a great design which is used throughout to make the site memorable, it runs smoothly and provides a lot of fun extras, from unusual promotions to original special rooms. However, it also lacks a lot in various key places. In short, this site does a lot with just a little, so while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea (poor Wonderland joke…) it also gathers loyal fans.

Design & Usability
We love sites that go the extra mile with design. Fancy Bingo is no exception, with a striking Alice in Wonderland theme which is present throughout the site’s graphics and text. Quirky and fun, it gives the site character and makes it stand out.
Navigation is straightforward, based on the standard bingo site template with options along the top and square sections for promotions on the home page. The text is a tad squeezed in. You have quick access to account and settings at the top right, in buttons with Fancy’s quirky font. Help is clearly labelled on the home page.
Software & Gameplay
The Dragonfish platform is a good fit for Fancy Bingo, performing quickly and smoothly. The lobby is a little busy, bombarding you with big, bright ads, but you get used to it fast. Bingo is organised by type, then by special rooms which open at certain times. Handy tabs get you to slots, free games, promotions and more.
The bingo software itself is great, with everything big and clear. Despite a large mini game panel, they manage to give chat and the game plenty of space. You have quick access to preferences and banking. Hosts can be found easily, running games and generally chatting, though the site is a little on the quiet side until evening.
Safety & Security
Fancy Bingo is certified by the UK Gambling Commission and Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association. They also have the eCOGRA seal of fairness, a major industry standard. Payments and user details are protected by SSL encryption and a secure connection, though they give very little detail which is a shame.
The site has clear responsible gaming guidelines, links to organisations like gamcare and both privacy and fairness policies on display. Overall they make an effort to be responsible.
Payments & Withdrawals
The deposit section of the site nicely lists all the benefits of depositing, such as cards on the house for a weekly 5k game- pretty impressive stuff. Sadly, the number of payment options is very low. You have the standard Visa and MasterCard debit and credit options, but only PaySafeCard when it comes to electronic. Wire transfer is also an option.
Withdrawal times are unclear but will be processed after 48 hours. Otherwise the banking software is pretty smooth and simple.
Customer Support
You have access to two main forms of contact at Fancy Bingo: email and toll free phone. However, live chat support is surprisingly absent. The site somewhat cheekily lists live chat on the help page… but they’re referring to asking hosts for help in chat. While hosts are undoubtedly happy to help, they cannot do the same job as support staff (not while hosting too!).
On the plus side, they do have FAQs and a getting started guide for newbies, plus support response times appear to be good.
Bonuses & Promotions
Fancy Bingo shines when it comes to promotions, with all offerings branded with their kooky style. The Mad Hatter character pops up a lot to present imaginative promotions that stand out from the crowd. It’s a pleasure to see promotions with thought and originality, offering movie giveaways, prizes for 1p and more. Terms are right there to see on the page. Even the reload bonuses and jackpot bingos have fun themes attached.

Device Compatibility
When it comes to cross platform play, Fancy Bingo keep their cards close to their chest. There’s no mention of mobile play on the site, yet they do have a robust mobile site courtesy of Dragonfish. This is accessed through the browser and should work across all platforms and most modern devices.
Some may even find the mobile lobby easier to understand, with games neatly listed. Chat opens up full screen and is nice and easy to read. The mobile experience is easily as good as the desktop version. They have no app offerings, but the mobile site makes up for it.
Variety & Originality
When you first arrive at Fancy Bingo, the game variety can be a little hard to work out. The games page lists 90 ball, 75 ball and a special ‘75 ball more winners’ game with 5 prizes in each game. This extra quirky touch is exactly what Fancy specialises in. What’s less clear is how many rooms of each type they offer, as only a handful are visible and most only open at certain times of day. There’s just one 90 ball room in the daytime.
This is a bit of a let-down, but there are various special games like free bingo to check out. There are more slot games, with a mixture of licensed, feature packed games and old slot classics. Casino fans will only find two table games here. Overall a thin offering, but the rooms still have a certain compelling charm.
Loyalty & Rewards
Fancy Bingo operate the Diamond Club VIP scheme, which seems to be a fairly new addition. You are enrolled in this as soon as you deposit and it’s based on five tiers, from blue to platinum. Refreshingly, the requirements for each tier are clearly labelled. Moving to Bronze needs £25 in deposits, Silver needs £150 and so on. Platinum is invitation only, as you’d expect.
All tiers earn diamonds as reward points, which can be traded in the Diamond Shop. You also get variable birthday bonuses among a few other benefits. Higher tiers have access to exclusive games. Overall, a neat and enticing VIP structure with some nice rewards.
