Wild Spins verdict

Wild Spins is a very distinct site with a fun approach to artwork and design. Powered by Cassava Enterprises, with sister sites like Wink Slots and 888ladies, Wild Spins has the high standard of games and offers that you expect. This is an updated review, as Wild Spins had a big makeover in 2017 and underwent some improvements. Will you go wild for the huge welcome bonus and funky design at Wild Spins?

Update (11/05/2017) - Wild Spins originally launched in 2016, but underwent a big relaunch in May 2017. As a result, this site has been re-reviewed, as the changes are large enough to consider the relaunch as a new site. We have highlighted score changes and new features in each section.

design & Usability

Update (11/05/17) - When we first reviewed the site, Wild Spins notably had a side menu, which was reminiscent of other Lindar sites like Circus Bingo and Pixie Bingo. Now, the site has moved onto a standard top menu design, which gives it a more familiar feel for slot and casino players.

Despite the transformation, Wild Spins has maintained a very distinct style, which not all Cassava sites can say. Since the site’s overhaul, it has a brilliant new aesthetic which is based on classic 8-bit arcade games. The site navigation buttons, welcome text and some background elements use this quirky, blocky style. The site also has a wild monster mascot, so overall, it’s memorable and fun. You’ll see original artwork all over the place, which is always a good sign, as it means the site is not just another clone.

The registration process is quick and uses the same kind of 8-bit artwork as the main site. Navigation is achieved with links along the top bar, with sub-menus where necessary. The static pages like promotions have tiles for displaying information. It’s easy to see the terms and find information here, a huge help for newcomers. There’s loads of welcome text to read, too. All of this creates a friendly, unusual and accessible site, which we're happy to raise to five stars for Design & Usability.

customer Support

Update (11/05/17) - Little has changed with Customer Support, despite the relaunch, so this score is unchanged since the first review.

You’ll find the help area by scrolling down to the footer. Here you have some nice flavour text and two methods for reaching support; email and phone.

Though these methods are open 24/7, it’s a shame to miss live chat, especially on such a modern-feeling site. The team are knowledgeable and should sort out any problems you have. There’s also a detailed FAQ area for day-to-day questions.

bonuses & Promotions

Update (11/05/17) - As part of the relaunch, Wild Spins overhauled its welcome package, changing some of the reload bonuses and reworking the free spins offers slightly.

New players are now met with an unusual £999 welcome package. This is split over four deposits. Your first gets a 100% match, up to £99, and you'll also start life at this online casino with 20 free spins. Your second gets a 50% match up to £200, with 30 spins. Your third gets 50% up to 300 and your fourth gets 25% up to £400. The main bonus itself is quite neat and the free spins are sure to be useful. These come with a fairly low wagering requirement of 30x.

You can also claim some spins just for registering your phone, to try the site out a little. Finally, there are birthday bonuses and friend referral bonus up for grabs. The site also offers some fun and games on their social media accounts.

software & Gameplay

Update (11/05/17) - Gameplay at Wild Spins has had a sizeable overhaul, although the Software Gameplay score remains unchanged.

The games area now uses a very simple set of tiles, highlighting several games at once. There’s an expanded set of categories to narrow this down, or you can search, limit the selection to certain providers and even switch to a list view. You can also mark your favourites, which was also present in the older version of the site.

The games load in a large window here, with a bespoke art background and an overlay. This includes the site footer and header, with useful account and navigation controls. There’s also a side panel with offers. A full-screen option would be ideal, but the setup here looks good and loads very fast.

device Compatibility

Update (11/05/17) - Little has changed with Wild Spins' mobile offering, as it still uses a standard Dragonfish formula for its mobile site.

You’ll find a new mobile page on Wild Spins to inform new users about the mobile options available. This includes plenty of useful information about how mobile casinos work, which is a nice touch.

The same funky artwork from the desktop site is used on mobile, with a more responsive layout, with expanding menus. Once you log in, you’ll see the standard Cassava template; that’s no bad thing, as it’s a very good mobile setup with simple controls and full account access. You can swipe left and right to browse game categories. You can also claim an extra 25 spins to play mobile slots with a free bonus!

An iOS app is in the works for the site, although this was unavailable at the time of reviewing.

safety & Security

Wild Spins is licensed and regulated by the Great Britain Gambling Commission and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner. You can find full details of this on the site, as well as a fair play section discussing how fairness is ensured and verified through the eCOGRA organisation.

The site has a full responsible gaming policy with useful information, plus site security is strong, using a secure certificate for all pages.

variety & Originality

Update (11/05/17) - We previously criticised Wild Spins for not offering enough table or casino games. In particular, it had no live dealer versions of games. These issues have been fixed in the relaunch, and we're content to raise its score by one star to four stars.

The variety is really good at Wild Spins, thanks to a mixture of different slot providers. The very popular NetEnt brand is here, bringing along Gonzo’s Quest, Fairytale Legends and Starburst. You also have a smattering of real money slots from Eyecon who make Fluffy Favourites, WMS with Rainbow Riches and Pariplay with Atari games. Check out Nyx’s Foxin’ Wins for an instant classic, or Wonder Woman for a big jackpot game.

The site could still use more table games, but you do have a mix of different roulette types, blackjack games, Texas hold ‘em poker, baccarat and more, which is a wider selection than was available before. There are also some nice branded games like Deal or No Deal video poker.

Finally, Wild Spins has solved one of its biggest issues from before with the addition of live dealer casino games.

payments & Withdrawals

You can deposit and withdraw easily at Wild Spins, which uses the standard pop-up cashier window seen on most Cassava sites. Here you have a simple set of icons to guide you along. The site will let you deposit by phone or wire transfer, if you don’t want to pay online. However, withdrawals will take 4-7 working days for cards.

Wild Spins accepts payments through debit and credit cards, Neteller, PaySafeCard, PayPal and EntroPay. A very strong selection which will cover most users out there.

VIP Programme

Update (11/05/17) - VIP is one of the areas where Wild Spins has improved most. Previously, there was no mention of a VIP or loyalty scheme at the site, but this has been expanded with the relaunch. Our reviewer has therefore raised the site's score from two stars to four stars.

Wild Spins now has a fun addition to its loyalty programme, where you can simply win free spins just for logging on. The more you use the site, the more likely you are to get a nice surprise.

The site also has a new VIP Club, which actually has a lot of useful information and talks about the myths of VIP clubs. This system is invite-only and does not give detailed information about what you can receive, but it does promise extra loyalty spins, a dedicated manager and other special rewards.

conclusion

Wild Spins has a lot going for it, following the relaunch, starting with a quirky design that stands out from the crowd. The 8-bit style and fun characters make the site more interesting, while an expanded and enhanced game selection gives players a reason to stick around. The site’s overhaul also added some more game providers and a VIP system, which will give old members reason to go back for more. New players can grab a nice welcome bonus to see what they think of the new digs. A future addition of a new iOS app will make the site more accessible for mobile players. Overall, it's a marked improvement on what came before.

Wild Spins is a site which is slowly growing to be one of the best slot sites around, after some intial issues with the site being redesigned it has now got the potential to be one of the best if not the best slot site around. On a personal note I have had dealing with their customer services who is a lovley lady called Beth, Considering she pretty much deals with customers on her own she is helpfull, polite always happy to help. Now the down side, the biggest problem with Wild Spins is the promotions, they have a good welcome package but unfortunatley that is kind of the best they have. Even though they have codes for free spins on a fairly regular basis they dont do much in the way of deposit bonuses which personally I feel would keep the players interested and keep them coming back. There is not much i can say wrong about this site apart from the promotions and I will be reccomending this site to all the folks i talk to and give advice about sites too.
