Spin Genie Verdict
Spin Genie is an interesting site, with an unusual design, nice colours and a fresh approach. The main strength of this site is its unusual game selection, with Slingo, tons of slots, instant win games and some casino variants that are not seen everywhere. The site just needs to make things a bit easier for players, especially with promotions, which are currently a little limited. Let the genie out of the bottle!

Design & Usability
Spin Genie has an appealing design, using a palette of gentle purples, blues and turquoises. The overall effect is sparkly and colourful, but not too bold or distracting. The site’s artwork is mostly taken from the games, but there are some original images and everything is high quality.
Registration takes a few moments. The site uses panels for things like your account area, which is fine but it might just be simpler to use a full page. There’s a simple main navigation bar for getting around. The text could be a little easier to see there, however. There’s a floating button for live chat. Overall, this is an attractive site which feels a little different.
Software & Gameplay
The games lobby is part of the main site page at Spin Genie, with a set of tabs taking you to slots, Slingo, casino and instant win games. There is no way to browse sub-groups or search, so you will be scrolling.
The games load into a nice, big space, with a special overlay. You have a bluish-purple background which matches the site, but may clash with some slots. There’s a slots list on the right and the site’s usual top bar for navigation. It’s a simple, useful system.
Safety & Security
Spin Genie is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and Alderney Gambling Control Commission. You’ll also see that your payments are protected by SSL encryption, so security is high.
This site does not mention fairness much, but the license should take care of that, plus the games they use come from reputable providers. Spin Genie has a full responsible gambling guide, with tools to help you limit your spending.
Payments & Withdrawals
The cashier is easy to use at Spin Genie, using a simple panel where you can enter your details. You can also set limits here. Withdrawals are easy too and appear to take around the average of 3-5 working days.
The downside is that Spin Genie is very limiting with methods. You can use credit and debit cards like MasterCard, Maestro, Visa and Visa Debit, or pay by mobile, but there are no e-wallet options.
Customer Support
There is a contact button on the main navigation bar, which takes you to a simple contact page. Spin Genie can be reached by live chat, phone or email and it’s good to see all three represented.
The team is very welcoming and useful, but they are only available between 9am and 11pm. The site lacks an FAQ page, which would be nice to see for quick answers.
Bonuses & Promotions
The welcome bonus at Spin Genie is a 200% deposit match, up to £100. The wagering requirement is very high indeed here, at 80x for slots and 60x for Slingo. You may also see a £5 or £10 freebie on bingo, but this is only available through certain external links. The site does not explain promotions very well, requiring you to read through terms to work out what you can get.
The site also offers 50 free spins for new players, but winnings are subject to a high 60x wagering requirement. There are several such offers depending on the marketing link you arrive through. The only other site-wide offer at the time of writing was an Adele tickets prize draw, with £500 spending money. This is a bit more original, but overall, the site needs to streamline these offers.
Device Compatibility
Though the site doesn’t mention it, Spin Genie has an app for iOS devices. The app is not that highly rated, but both iOS and Android users can always just use the mobile version of the main site.
The mobile site is very good here, using sliding menus and big icons to help you get around. You can easily scroll the slots and they load up with mobile controls. This is not the most attractive mobile site ever, but it works well and will keep you going for a quick flutter.
Variety & Originality
Spin Genie uses a mix of developers. You’ll see top titles by NetEnt and Microgaming, such as Immortal Romance. There are also titles by IGT and Eyecon. Gems, Gems, Gems by Williams Interactive stands out, as does Life of Riches by Microgaming. In addition to these, you have the original Slingo games. These are a mixture of slot and bingo, which is really clever and gives this site (and sister sites) something unique. There are several variants, including big names like X Factor.
The site also has a big selection of over 28 casino games, including a Slingo variety and some unusual titles by SHFL entertainment. There’s no live dealer, but the games are different and you have a few instant wins to check out, too.
Loyalty & Rewards
Spin Genie’s VIP section details a two-tier system for ‘big shots’. Becoming a VIP is dependent on wagering and is essentially invite-only. You have to keep playing at your current level to maintain VIP status. There is no mention of loyalty points for typical players, however.
VIPs get 10% bonus cashback, priority withdrawals, exclusive promos and support. Platinum VIPs get real cashback, express withdrawals, a VIP account manager, special event invites and gifts, such as gadgets. There’s also a monthly VIP draw for real prizes. This should be a fun high roller experience.
