Casinoland Verdict
Casinoland is a very strong site, getting almost everything right. Though the VIP system is a little basic, at least it regularly rewards players, rather than dishing out lavish rewards to a select few. The game selection is very big and varied, plus the way games are presented is fun and stylish. There’s a nice design here and the site is a pleasure to use on desktop and mobile, letting you play online slots quickly and easily.

Design & Usability
Casinoland’s site design is interesting, breaking away from the usual template slightly, with a minimal style. What hits you first is the main artwork, showing a bulldog in a monocle and jacket standing on a little UK planet, with a golden dice under his paw! There’s no doubting that this is the site for some sophistication and bling, but also a sense of humour.
In terms of layout, the site seems to take cues from mobile play. All the main navigation buttons are actually on the bottom of the screen, while account access stays at the top. This system works just fine and makes sense, as it stays visible when you scroll down. The site mostly aims for neutral colours and transparent areas, so it feels very sleek and modern. There is a little simple artwork for things like the promotions. Overall, this is an interesting and strong design.
Software & Gameplay
The Casinoland games section is built into the main page, with a series of icon tabs to split up slots, roulette, blackjack, poker, live dealer and table games. You have a search option and can even browse by provider.
The slots load fast and appear in a large window, with a background taken from the slot. The window has a translucent border, with a panel on the right for full screen view, depositing, finding more games and favouriting games. You can even randomise your next game! This is a great setup, adding value and aesthetics without getting in the way of the game.
Safety & Security
Casinoland is fully licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission. You can see the details of this on the site footer.
This site has security for all pages, including encryption to protect your personal information. There’s also a good responsible gaming section, with links to organisations that combat problem gambling.
Payments & Withdrawals
Depositing is easy at Casinoland, just click on the deposit button and you get a simple panel to fill in. Withdrawals times are excellent here, aiming to process within 8 hours and have your money delivered in 3 working days!
This site accepts Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill and PaySafeCard, a pretty good selection, just missing PayPal for the best coverage.
Customer Support
The help section is linked on the bottom bar at Casinoland, giving you a big, bold page with FAQs, site information and contact options. The FAQs are detailed and sorted neatly into categories.
The team are available by contact form, phone and live chat, all of these 24/7. This is a good setup and gives you easy access to help. The team are quick to respond and very welcoming.
Bonuses & Promotions
Casinoland has a hefty welcome bonus, split over four deposits. Your first deposit can be matched by 100% up to £200, a good offer in itself. Your second gets 50%, your third gets 25% and your fourth also gets 25%. All of these are capped at £200, giving you a potential £800, though it will cost a lot more than that to get because of the percentages. These come with standard 40x wagering requirements.
Promotions are well presented and the terms are clear, but they are lacking in numbers. The only other promotion at the time of writing was Tuesday Spotlight Special, where each week the site gives away 50 spins on a certain slot, if you deposit £50. A nice idea, but the site needs more for players who want to spend less.
Device Compatibility
Casinoland has an iOS app which works for phones and tablets, letting you play mobile slots with real money. This works much like the mobile site, which you can view on your device’s browser, for most other types of phone. The main site does not give you any information about these offerings, unfortunately.
The mobile site appears a lot like the main site, as you might expect. Having the same layout is good and makes it a lot easier for players to hop onto the mobile site and back without needing to search around. This site has a very good mobile setup, easy to use, with full access.
Variety & Originality
There’s a mixture of game providers at Casinoland, so you get a good variety of games. The providers include Microgaming, NetEnt, Quickspin, NYX, Play ‘n Go, Thunderkick and more, totalling over 250 games. Play ‘n Go’s Matsuri stands out for excellent graphics and sound, while Microgaming brings along the comic book slot Hellboy.
Table and casino games are in plentiful supply here, with each type having several variants. For example, there are 12 varieties of Roulette, such as English and Monopoly. There are around 40 casino titles in total, including live dealer games. The site just needs something unusual or original.
Loyalty & Rewards
Casinoland has a VIP Club which works on loyalty points and tiers. You begin as a Bronze member by default and can become Silver, Gold and Platinum. The site keeps a useful bar on the main page to show your progress. Each spin on the slots advances your progress. These are not full reward tiers, more like short term goals.
Each time you complete a tier level, you get spins. Bronze gets 10 free spins (£0.20 per spin), Silver gets 20 free spins (£0.20 per spin), Gold gets 6 free spins (£1.00 per spin) and Platinum gets 8 free spins (£1.00 per spin). These are reset each month and do have wagering requirements. It’s a neat little reward system, but not very ‘VIP’.
