Sky High Slots verdict

Sky High Slots has a fancy deco style, using the imagery of golden sky scrapers. This is a Cassava Enterprises site, so players can expect a similar setup to the popular Zinger Spins and Moon Games, in terms of software and games. Will this towering site offer an amazing view, or is it a blot on the casino landscape?

design & Usability

The design of Sky High Slots is fun and well put together, using a logo and text throughout the site in a 20s deco style. This is paired with a black and gold colour scheme. Golden skyscrapers tower in the background, in gold and black. The site gets a little colour from the images of the slot games, while the promotions use the same theme to keep things consistent.

The registration process is quick and you may even recognise the template from other Cassava sites. Once in, you get account buttons at the top right and the usual row of navigation links. There’s a relatively small graphic panel and a few ad panels, but nothing intrusive. More site links are found on the footer. The design is very simple and easy to use, not revolutionary, but also without any issues.

customer Support

Sky High Slots has a direct help link at the top, leading to a simple page with some intro text and ways of getting in touch. This page also directs you to some offers and the FAQs, which are a little limited but do cover the basics.

You can get in touch with the site by phone or email, but unfortunately, the site lacks live chat. This does put it a step behind many other casinos.

bonuses & Promotions

The welcome bonus at Sky High Slots is quite tempting, a straightforward 100% cash match on your first deposit, up to £200. Alternatively, if you deposit £400 or more, you get a 50% bonus up to £500. This is a little awkwardly laid out, but the first half is what will apply to most players. The welcome bonus comes with a 30x wagering requirement. There are also bonuses on the second and third deposits, 50% extra.

The site’s other promotions are regular, but not that exciting. An offer of 25 free spins sounds good, but in fact you get 5 free spins for each £200 wagered on certain slots- not really a proportionate reward. Wednesdays offer triple reward points and Thursdays have a recurring deposit bonus.

software & Gameplay

The slots are clearly displayed here, using small tiles with a set of categories to narrow them down. There could certainly be more options here, but there is at least a search function. Each game has some information when you hover over it, a nice extra touch.

The games load a little slowly here, which hopefully won’t always be the case. The slots also appear in a very small and basic pop-up window, so presentation could be better both aesthetically and in terms of usability.

device Compatibility

Sky High Slots does not have any apps, or a mobile guide, but you can just pop onto the page through a mobile or tablet browser. This should work for most current devices.

The mobile page is much like the main site at first, but it has a slightly different top area because it has been readjusted for smaller screen spaces. When you log in, however, you get a pretty standard Dragonfish mobile setup which is very good, but still a template. Nevertheless, this is a useable mobile site.

safety & Security

Sky High Slots is licensed and regulated by the Government of Gibraltar and the UK Gambling Commission. The site also has the approval of the eCOGRA service, for fairness and safety.

This site has SSL encryption protecting your transactions, plus a responsible gaming area with controls to help you fight problem gambling.

variety & Originality

There’s a pretty good variety at Sky High Slots, owing to games from a mixture of providers. The site has games from IGT, WMS, NetEnt and more. Look out for the classic Rainbow Riches, or Fairytale Legends for something more graphically impressive. Elements: The Awakening offers some fantasy gameplay. Several games by 888 Games add movie imagery to the mix, such as Nightmare on Elm Street. The addition of multiple progressive jackpot slots will please players too. The site just could use a few more of the big-name providers.

In the casino area, you’ll see roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker. There are over 20 games, with some unusual variations like Deal or No Deal Roulette. You will also find a smattering of live dealer games.

payments & Withdrawals

Sky High Slots has a simple cashier setup, which is used by many Cassava sites. A pop-up cashier takes you through depositing step by step, using large icons. The withdrawal process should take around 4-7 working days here and has no fees.

This site accepts payments by phone, wire transfer, MasterCard, Visa and PaySafeCard. This is a good start, but some e-wallets would really improve matters.

VIP Programme

There is a VIP Club area at Sky High Slots, which has a pretty standard Cassava setup. This includes five loyalty tiers, from New Star to 5 Star. The first tiers all have very clear thresholds, in actual deposited money terms, which is very transparent and good for responsible gaming. The top tier is invite-only.

Rising the ranks gives access to free spins, deposit bonuses, bonus cash, real cash and even exclusive products, so the rewards do look good here, but perhaps lacking the full high roller aspect.

conclusion

Sky High Slots is a really nice site, which makes some effort to have a nicer aesthetic than the usual Cassava template site. That being said, you won’t really find any surprises here. Still, if you want a mixture of games, some unusual titles and a quick and easy welcome bonus, this is a good place to look. This is a very standard, but also high-quality site. There are just a few things missing, like live chat.
