Pros & Cons Bonuses
Good range of payment methods
Fun theme and design
Promotions and bonuses could be better
Some big-name providers aren’t represented
Spin Rio Verdict
It’s worth trying out Spin Rio as it’s got a few good features, from the exciting Brazilian carnival theme to the range of payment methods, but there are a couple of things that let the site down a little. More promotions would be great, and it would be good to see slots from some more providers making an appearance, but what Spin Rio does have is pretty good.

Design & Usability
This casino makes use of the colours of the Brazilian flag, with plenty of blue, green, and yellow, but it doesn’t become overpowering – there’s a solid balance with blacks and greys on the screen to provide good contrast. Meanwhile, the website is fairly easy and simple to use – it’s easy to switch between the Casino, Live Casino and Scratchcards, and from games to promotions and everything else on the site, like FAQs and terms and conditions. Searching for games is simple too, as there’s a search box where you can enter the name of a slot or a provider, as well as different categories to sift through.
Software & Gameplay
Spin Rio is owned by Marketplay Ltd, who also operate other well-known online casinos, and the games on the site come from several good-reputation providers, while the games are powered by AG Communication Ltd too. The likes of Microgaming and Play’n Go are well-represented, but some other providers aren’t featured, or just have a couple of games here. There are no Yggdrasil slots, for example, and just two from Eyecon. However, you’re sure to enjoy the gameplay when it comes to playing the games they do have here.
Safety & Security
In the UK, SpinRio is licensed and regulated by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, one of the most trustworthy regulatory bodies out there, while your data is in safe hands; SpinRio makes use of industry-standard 128-bit Secure Socket Layer encryption to protect sensitive information. The safety and security procedures followed here are fairly typical of online casinos, so you won’t have any surprises. The fact that the site is owned by Marketplay Ltd should give you additional peace of mind too – they’re a reliable, experienced company.
Payments & Withdrawals
Several payment methods are available, but not all can be used with pounds. Options for payment in the UK include debit card, Trustly, Skrill, Neteller, PayPal, AstroPay and Paysafecard. They’ll get your money in your account instantly, but do vary slightly in terms of withdrawal time. Debit cards – both Visa and MasterCard – could take up to six days for withdrawal, while PayPal, Neteller and Skrill will take up to two days maximum.
Customer Support
If you need help, you’ve got two main options to choose from. You can either email Spin Rio, or enter Live Chat to speak to an advisor – both methods are open to you. The support team is available seven days a week, from 8am to midnight, so you can always get help when you need it. While extra customer support options would be great, at least the main bases are covered here.
Bonuses & Promotions
There are a couple of good bonuses on Spin Rio, but that said, it would be good to see some more joining them. There’s an exclusive welcome offer – with a minimum deposit of £10 – where you get a bonus of up to £50, and 100 spins on one of a vast number of games. There’s a wagering requirement of 35x too, and your maximum win is £100.
There are some time-sensitive promos too, in tandem with providers like Skywind. By playing certain games, you get the chance to win part of a prize pool, which can total thousands.
Terms & Conditions: New depositing players only.Min. deposit £10. Max. bonus varies per deposit (see below). Bonuses that require a deposit, have to be wagered 35x. This offer is available to players residing in the United Kingdom only. Deposits may be withdrawn before a player’s wagering requirements have been fulfilled. However, if this occurs, all bonuses and winnings will be voided/removed from the player’s account. Players must contact support in order to withdraw their deposit.
Device Compatibility
Being a new casino, you’d expect Spin Rio to be compatible with mobile devices, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. If you prefer playing on mobile casinos, you can simply load the site up on your browser of choice and choose from hundreds of different games. There’s no app – just the browser is needed – and the majority of devices should be supported, from Android to iOS.
Variety & Originality
You can choose between Casino, Live Casino and Scratchcards, and there are plenty of options underneath each one. In the casino, you can choose from regular slots, jackpots and table games, and there are hundreds of them on offer. While some providers are better represented than others, you’ll be able to find some of your favourites and other classic titles here – the likes of Book of Dead and Starburst among them.
If you decide to go to the Live Casino, there are roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker options, as well as game shows, while under Scratchcards you’ll find a small selection of scratchcards. Overall, there’s enough to stop you from getting bored, but it would still be good to see a little more choice in some areas.
Loyalty & Rewards
There doesn’t appear to be a loyalty programme just yet, but as Spin Rio is such a new online casino, this could well change in future.
