Won't quite drive you into a Frenzy, but a solid Nektan site nonetheless

Fortune Frenzy verdict

Fortune Frenzy is a brand that operates on the Nektan white label platform. Originally, it ran on Probability software, but made the move to Nektan in 2013, joining forty-four other online casino sites. Fortune Frenzy caters to UK and European players, and offers a three-part welcome bonus to new depositors. It stocks a variety of games (including live dealer games) by providers such as IGT, NetEnt, NextGen, and WMS. But, is Fortune Frenzy really bursting with excitement and big cash prizes or would you better not to believe the hype that the hysteria in the brand’s name alludes to?

design & Usability

The majority of Nektan casinos are well-designed, but if you’re hoping to play on your desktop, you may well find the homepage is rather confusing. The homepage uses a mobile-friendly format, which is great if you’re playing on your tablet or smartphone, but not so great if you’re viewing it on a PC or laptop. The dull green colour reminds us of a stagnant garden pond, and there’s a lot of text and very little graphics, which means that you have to scroll down a fair way to get the gist of what the site’s all about. What’s also strange is the presence of what we can only assume are affiliate links to non-Nektan sites, and promoting other casinos seems at odds with the aim of getting players to become members of Fortune Frenzy. The homepage also lists a mobile-friendly menu link right at the bottom next to the social media icons, which makes it frustrating if you’re hoping to take a quick look at the games or offers that are available and can’t find what you’re looking for.

Once you’ve located the link to the lobby (or any other page, for that matter), Fortune Frenzy instantly takes on the appearance of a more easily navigable Nektan casino. You can browse the lobby, view the promotions, read the FAQ and more. We found the yellow and green colour scheme rather uninspiring, and the plain background could have been used to give the site a more distinctive and welcoming brand image.

customer Support

The opening times for the customer service department aren’t listed, but you have four main methods of getting in touch – email, telephone, live help, or post. The FAQ page includes information on banking, fairness, withdrawals, technical problems, and bonuses.

bonuses & Promotions

It’s good to see that there’s a sign-up offer which allows new players to try Fortune Frenzy out for size with a free £5 no-deposit bonus. There’s also a welcome package that awards a 100% bonus of up to £100 and ten free spins on first deposits of £10 or above, a 100% bonus of up to £150 and twenty-five free spins on second deposits of at least £10, and a 50% bonus of up to £250 and sixty-five free spins on third deposits of £10 or more. Bonuses carry a wagering requirement of thirty times the sum of your bonus and deposit, and the maximum winnings you can convert into real cash is capped at four times the bonus amount awarded.

The other promotions are standard for Nektan brands, and range from win boosts and free spins to prize draws and cashback deals.

software & Gameplay

You can choose between demo or real-play modes with the majority of games, and the lobby is nicely designed so that you can view the available titles via thumbnails. There are six different games categories, and a search box is provided if you’re looking for something specific. We like that you can filter by software provider and “wins”, the latter of which includes “very big, big, regular, frequent, and very frequent”.

The games window lets you choose between full-screen or partial-screen mode, and also gives you the option to visit the cashier or return to the lobby.

device Compatibility

There are no dedicated pages for mobile nor are there any Fortune Frenzy mobile apps. However, you can still enjoy playing at Fortune Frenzy using the optimised website via your smartphone or tablet’s web browser.

safety & Security

Fortune Frenzy is regulated and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Government of Gibraltar. A Random Number Generator ensures that the outcomes of the games are randomised and fair, and a link to the NMI test certificate is located within the website’s footer. Your data is kept secure via SSL encryption.

variety & Originality

Fortune Frenzy offers a wealth of games from Nektan, WMS, NextGen Gaming, Lightning Box, NetEnt, IGT, Aristocrat, Elk Studios, Extreme Live Gaming, and Realistic Games.

For slots, there are jackpot slots, video slots, and classic slots ranging from Starburst, Shamrock ‘n’ Roll, and King Kong Cash to The Pig Wizard, Mega Jackpots Golden Goddess, and Action Bank. The instant wins section includes Gamevy’s Diamond Deal, Big Foot Scratch, Lil’ Lady Bingo, Colour Cubes, and Wheel or Fortune Winning Words Game among others. The casino games selection incorporates Live Auto Roulette, Live VIP Blackjack, Felt Games’ Blackjack with Buster Bet, Punto Banco, Texas Hold’em, and more.

payments & Withdrawals

Although Paypal isn’t an accepted payment method, you can still choose from Visa, MasterCard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Pay by Mobile (Boku), Zimpler, and Trustly. You can deposit a minimum of £10 per transaction and withdraw a minimum of £20 per transaction. Withdrawals take up to three working days to be processed, and are fee-free with the exception of Boku withdrawals which cost 15%.

VIP Programme

The Privileged VIP scheme that runs at Fortune Frenzy is the standard Nektan-owned VIP system. There’s very little information on the programme which is also invite-only, but we do know that some of the perks offered to VIPs include cashback, weekly bonuses, and free spins.

conclusion

Although Fortune Frenzy boasts a great games selection, it fails to impress us due to the lack of branding. Nektan sites like Slots Devil and Pots of Luck are proof that it is possible to run a successful white-label casino while standing out from your competitors. With the way that the Fortune Frenzy website is currently, it’s simply too easy to forget.
