Caesars Casino verdict

Caesars Casino is a luxurious site, built for and modelled after the famous Caesars Casino in Las Vegas. This includes the same branding, a sophisticated style and also some excellent slot games from Gamesys, who brought us Jackpotjoy and Virgin Games. Will this site leave you feeling like an emperor?

design & Usability

The Caesars Casino site is quite low-ley, aiming for the sophistication of big casinos. This includes a plain black background with a red curtain on it, which is a very subtle way to invoke the idea of classy stage shows and spotlights. There is some original artwork too, showing Las Vegas scenes, plus art from the slot games.

The actual site is easy enough to navigate. The top area includes your account balance at the top right, then a simple row of clear navigation buttons. You can reach any part of the site from this bar, so you won’t be clicking around all day. Sub-sections like promotions have a clear view too, using tabs to separate information. The site could look a little more polished, but it works very well.

customer Support

The contact button on the main page takes you to a very straightforward contact section. This includes a set of FAQs, covering everything from loyalty bonuses to Flash Player. These can be searched, which is always handy.

The Caesars team can be reached by email, live chat and phone. This is a Freephone number and the service is always open. Live chat is easy to follow and the team are very professional.

bonuses & Promotions

The welcome bonus at Caesars is tiny, really not reflecting the glitzy name of the casino at all. You expect the high roller treatment from a branded Vegas casino, but the bonus is a fixed £20 regardless of deposit size. Still, this is enough for a tour around the site. The wagering requirements on this seem like a super-low 4x, but note than slot play only contributes 10% of each bet towards the requirements- quite a sneaky setup.

Other site offers are a little thin on the ground too, but you will see events like 3 days of cashback on slots and standard loyalty and friend referral bonuses. The site really could use more glamour in this department!

software & Gameplay

Caesars has a simple game lobby, slowing tiled games on the page as normal, with little descriptions and quick links for real or demo play. However, categories are search are missing, so you have to manually seek out games.

The games are a little slow to load and they appear with an overlay, which is common to several Gamesys sites. There are controls along the top and a useful software lobby. The usual chat window for other Gamesys sites becomes a large ad panel here, which is a little distracting.

device Compatibility

Curiously, Caesars does have an iOS app, but it’s developed by another company. Still, it appears to be a very good app with easy access to games and more, but it stands alone from the website.

Unfortunately, the main site does not have a mobile counterpart, so perhaps this is the reason for the third-party iOS app. Android players will lose out here.

safety & Security

Caesars Casino is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and the Government of Gibraltar. The site uses SSL encryption to protect player information, provided by DigiCert. Payments go through the highly secure WorldPay service.

The site has a full privacy policy and responsible gaming page, with controls to help players limit their spending.

variety & Originality

Caesars uses two areas for slots and casino. The former is strictly slot games, with some really excellent titles. NetEnt games are here, including Wild Wild West, Secret of the Stones and Gonzo’s Quest. Eyecon provides Fluffy Favourites and Shaman’s Dream. Williams provides some classics like Zeus and OMG Kittens. However, most notably, the site has several original titles by Gamesys. These are only found on a small group of sites and they include some very fun games, produced by a studio in the UK. Double Bubble is a simple slot with huge win potential, Winstones is a prehistoric game and Wonderland has brilliant Lewis Carroll-themed art.

In the casino area, the site offers a handful of roulette and blackjacks. Roulette Splendide stands out for good graphics, as does Vegas Strip Blackjack. There’s also hi-lo, video poker, baccarat and Play Your Cards Right. However, the site lacks live dealer games.

payments & Withdrawals

Finding the cashier is simple enough at Caesars, then players have a series of tabs for deposits, withdrawals and changing methods. The form could be clearer, but you do have access to the FAQs on-page. Withdrawals have no fees and take a standard 3-5 working days to arrive.

The payment methods accepted here could be broader. The site accepts MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Visa Debit, PayPal and PaySafeCard. PayPal is great to see, but a few more options would be ideal.

VIP Programme

Caesars is very vague about VIP rewards, another surprising missed opportunity for such a high-class, glamorous brand. Players can earn VIP status through spending, but the amounts are not revealed. Invite-only system usually showcase some glamorous rewards, but the site only mentions regular loyalty bonuses. Some events and special gifts do get sent out, as is standard for the Gamesys group, but really the site could do more to share this information.

conclusion

Caesars Casino is a fun slots site, but it is not a full casino site, despite the name. It’s very clear that this is a stripped-down version of the bigger Gamesys brands, with bingo removed but nothing really added in its place. The slots selection is very good and exclusive games are a huge plus point, but there’s no VIP glamour or big budget promotions to support them. The site doesn’t really reflect the size and style of Caesars, but you can have a good game here.
