Sunset Spins Verdict
The theme of Sunset Spins is sure to warm players up even on the coldest of nights, and the broad selection of games from a wide choice of software providers is a pleasant surprise. The only significant things that prevent us from getting us more excited about the site is the lack of promotions and the super-secretive VIP scheme.

Design & Usability
The main problem with white-label casino brands is that they usually have to work with a fixed template and can, therefore, be hard to personalise. But, Sunset Spins manages to overcome those restrictions by giving you a stunning and slightly hazy view of the sun setting in front of an avenue of palm trees. It could be Las Vegas – it could be Hawaii. All that matters is that you feel an instant warm glow just looking at the imagery. The sunset effect is used also in the brand’s logo which sits again a stark white background at the top of the screen, and the menu system uses purple-grey colours to stand out from the lighter background picture.
The layout is also well-executed. The section at the top-right lets you choose from eight different languages, request a password reset, sign-up, log-in, or get help. The current welcome bonus and site news appear in a slideshow format on the advertising banner beneath. Plus, the latest promotions appear as miniature images at the top-right, and can also be accessed via a separate button on the left. The games lobby is presented from the centre downwards, and a live chat launch button sits at the very bottom while also remaining visible on the screen at all times. The only thing we’d like to see is a personal welcome or introduction to new players as there doesn’t appear to be one at present.
Software & Gameplay
One benefit of the Nektan software is that you can play every game (except live casino games) in either “real” or “fun” mode, which is great if you’d like to test out some titles prior to wagering real cash. The lobby includes eight different game categories such as Exclusive, Christmas, and Instant Win, and you can also filter by software provider and types of wins.
Safety & Security
Sunset Spins is regulated and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Government of Gibraltar. NMi is the external tester that has signed-off the site’s Random Number Generator Software as proof of its fairness, and state-of-the-art SSL encryption makes sure that your data is always securely handled prior to transmission.
Payments & Withdrawals
Visa, MasterCard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Pay by Mobile, Zimpler, and Trustly are the accepted forms of payment at Sunset Spins. You can deposit £10 or more and withdraw £20 or more per transaction, and it takes up to three working days for withdrawal requests to be processed.
Customer Support
Sunset Spins doesn’t advertise its support hours, but the methods that you can use to ask for help or lodge a complaint are email, telephone, post and live help. The website also has an FAQ page which gives information on topics like making withdrawals, bonuses, fairness, and technical issues.
Bonuses & Promotions
On our last visit to Sunset Spins, there were only two promotions available which is quite disappointing.
The first is the welcome offer, which lets new players claim a 100% match bonus when they make a first deposit of at least £10 plus ten free spins on the Starburst slot by NetEnt. You can only claim a maximum bonus of £10, which seems rather miserly, and you must also meet the thirty-five times play-through requirements before you can withdraw any of your bonus winnings. You should also be aware that you can only convert up to four times your bonus, which means £40.
The second offer is a time-limited live dealer promotion in which player that wager the most during the promotional period can win a weekend getaway for two worth £2,000, between £50 to £1,000 of casino credit, and up to one hundred free spins. These are admittedly some nice prizes, but the offer is pretty much restricted to high rollers.
Device Compatibility
It’s a shame that Nektan don’t make more of a song and dance about their brands’ mobile compatibility. The HTML5 website (N.B., there are no Sunset Spins mobile slot apps) is actually very good, and works with the majority of mobile devices including Androids, iPhones, iPads, and Windows smartphones and tablets.
Variety & Originality
At Sunset Spins, you can enjoy games from no less than twenty software providers, including some of the biggest names in the industry such as IGT, Microgaming, NextGen, and NetEnt, as well as smaller brands like Gamevy, Foxium, Iron Dog, Felt Gaming, and Elk Studios.
There’s an extraordinary choice of online slots, including Golden Egypt, Wolf Cub, King of Macedonia, The Legend of Shangri-La, Action Bank, Agent Jane Blonde, 88 Fortunes, Cleopatra, and Da Vinci Diamonds Dual Play. The jackpot slots are more few and far between, but there are five of IGT’s MegaJackpots slots to enjoy.
With both live and non-live dealer games to choose from, you can play the likes of Live Auto Roulette La Parage, Live Casino Hold’em, Live Speed Roulette, Live Baccarat Squeeze, Oasis Poker, Texas Hold’em, Hi-Lo Blackjack, Pontoon, American Roulette and more.
The instant wins range from Spin Lotto, Diamond Deal, and Lil’ Lady Bingo to Oil Mania Scratch, Wheel of Fortune Winning Words Game, and Monkey Drop.
Loyalty & Rewards
Nektan’s Privileged Club provides the VIP system, and it’s an invitation-only scheme. As such, there’s very little information made public about it other than the fact that it offers benefits such as free spins, weekly bonuses, and cashback.
