What we recommend instead
Lucky Casino Verdict
While we love to come across unique casinos, we can’t help feeling that Lucky Casino doesn’t quite hit the bar. The gamification element of the site has yet to be implemented despite a published target of Q2 2017. The loyalty programme offers a comp points system with no visible benefits bar the option to convert points to bonuses. And, it would be nice to see some live dealer games.
But, on a more positive note, if you’re a big fan of NetEnt slots, and would appreciate the opportunity to pick your own welcome bonus, Lucky Casino is a safe and reputable online casino that can meet your needs.

Design & Usability
Our main frustration with Lucky Casino is that there are very few pages you can access without registering, including the support page and games lobby. But, other than this, the website is well-designed and simple to navigate.
Gold coins, casino chips, four-leaf clovers, and hearts appear across the website’s wallpaper which fades from black at the top to dark green at the bottom.
There isn’t a main menu as such – just links to the Casino and Bonuses pages at the top-left and a drop-down menu which lets you change the language. You can log in or create an account using the buttons at the top-right, and once you’re logged in, a live helpdesk launch button appears at the bottom-right.
At the top of the site, you can access your player profile and settings, and quickly top-up your balance via the orange “Deposit” button.
Software & Gameplay
Lucky Casino uses an open gaming platform called FinnPlay, which is used by five other online casinos including Go Wild.
The games are displayed using rows of thumbnails, and can be viewed according to popular categories such as Slots and Jackpots. Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be an option to play for fun, only with real cash.
Safety & Security
PlayMillion Casino is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authorities, and the Government of Curacao.
SSL encryption is used to keep your data from being intercepted by unauthorised parties, and there’s plenty of information available on responsible gaming and privacy. You can also limit your session time and deposits.
Payments & Withdrawals
You can use any of the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, and ecoPayz. The Cashier shows you any bonuses that you are entitled to when you go to make your deposit.
The minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts are €10 and €20 respectively, and the maximum you can withdraw in a single transaction is €1,000. The casino charges a fixed fee of €2.50 for certain payment methods, and withdrawals are processed within five working days.
Customer Support
You can reach the support team by live chat or email. Emails are responded to within 24 hours while live chat is available from 10 AM until midnight daily, and outside of these hours, you can leave a message and an agent will get back to you.
Bonuses & Promotions
The homepage states that players from the UK are not eligible for the no-deposit signup bonus although, at the time of writing, no such offer seems to exist, which is rather confusing.
However, if you’re ready to become a funded player straightaway, you get to pick your preferred welcome bonus from three different options:
-
Deposit €10-€500 and get a 100% bonus of up to €500 with 35x wagering requirements;
-
Deposit €10-€1,000 and get a 50% bonus of up to €500 with 30x wagering requirements;
-
Deposit €10-€2,000 and get a 25% bonus of up to €500 with 25x wagering requirements;
We particularly like the fact that the smaller bonus offers come with lower wagering requirements. But, it’s worth knowing that when you claim a bonus, the max amount that you can withdraw is £1,500.
As we were unable to find any other promotions, we’ve awarded Lucky Casino three stars for this category. However, the website does mention that special offers may be sent to players via email and SMS.
Device Compatibility
Despite there being zero information on mobile compatibility and no mobile apps listed in the iTunes or Google Play stores, we’ve found that the Lucky Casino website is optimised for mobile devices. So, if you wish to play its games on your tablet or smartphone, simply visit the site via your device’s internet browser.
Variety & Originality
Currently, there are 301 games on offer at Lucky Casino, and they’re supplied by NetEnt, Play’n GO and Yggdrasil.
The most popular games are Gonzo’s Quest, Rise of Olympus, Starburst, Jumanji, Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, and Penguin City.
Although the lobby has a tab for jackpot games, it brings up zero results.
There’s a wealth of table games from NetEnt that range from Blackjack Double Exposure, Advanced Roulette, and Punto Banco to Texas Hold’em, Super Wheel, and Pontoon. However, there are no live dealer games, and no casual games or video poker titles.
Overall, the games catalogue is unique but it lacks the full variety of variants that you usually find at most online casinos.
Loyalty & Rewards
Lucky Casino gives you gold points for placing real-cash bets, and once you have 1,000 points, you can convert them into bonus funds. Loyalty points expire after thirty days, and points that are converted into bonus money are subject to 60x wagering requirements.
There are four loyalty levels – Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum – which you can reach by collecting the points targets stated on the Loyalty page. There don’t appear to be many benefits other than a percentage of extra points which are awarded when you go up a level.
