This site would be suitable to someone playing for the first time, or an old hand who wants to grab a good welcome bonus. The Total Gold site definitely embraces the name, with a black and gold theme throughout. The background is black with faded stars, while everything else looks like it’s moulded from shiny gold. It’s certainly a complete and stylish theme, though it naturally also lacks colour.
The registration process follows a familiar Dragonfish design template, but it’s quick and easy. Once logged into the site, you see an account section at the top right and a large display of your balance. There’s a helpful panel for site ads and then the list of games- a very concise and simple layout.
Software & Gameplay
The game lobby is very simple at Total Gold, with tiles of games sorted by categories and quick buttons to find each one. However, it does lack a search box for finding a specific title. There’s a useful information page for each game, which is a nice touch.
The games load into a medium-sized space in a special view mode, with the same black and gold background. There’s a handy cashier link and games panel, but it would be nice to be able to full-screen the games and remove distractions. The loading times were a little sluggish for us.
