Game typesLeoVegas Casino Verdict
LeoVegas is one of the best online casino sites out there. Though they lag a little in a few departments, such as payments and the VIP programme, they don’t actually fail in any areas at all. The site is very easy to use, well designed and has a fun theme. The game selection is broad and powered by top quality software. Add in good customer service and creative promotions and you’ve got a very good casino.

Design & Usability
You’ll probably have seen LeoVegas advertised around the internet or on television; it’s hard to miss this site’s cool yet fun style. The site’s mascot is a man with a massive lion’s head, always looking very suave. The site presents this well, putting him in various scenes which cycle both on the central image and in the background. The way the central picture matches the blurry background gives a clever impression of being in the scene.
The site is easy enough to get around, with a pretty classic layout; account buttons at the very top, a banner, then selectors for the different game types. There’s a search field, something that many casinos neglect to add. This site has a sports betting section which makes it stand out from others. Registration is pretty fast but does require a phone number. The site uses sliding panels to make access quicker for things like account information.
Software & Gameplay
Game selection is pretty simple at LeoVegas, using a simple array of tiles to display all the slots and games you might want. When you click a game, you are moved into a special page with an overlay, similar to other sites like Party Casino and Super Casino.
The LeoVegas software is very good. Firstly, they make the slot game nice and big, almost full screen, with a matching blurred background to complete the effect. You can press a full-screen button to make it even larger. Along the site top you have your usual account controls, while on the right you have an info panel with some more controls. There is also a bottom strip with recent games and help links. The software is simple, quick and well thought out.
Safety & Security
LeoVegas has a full set of credentials in place. The site is licensed and regulated by both the UK Gambling Commission, Malta Gaming Authority and the Danish Gambling Authority, with full details listed on the site footer. The site is fully secure and has a 2048 bit SSL certificate protecting your data.
You’ll find responsible gaming controls here to limit your spending. The site uses game providers with proven track records in fairness.
Payments & Withdrawals
The depositing area slides down on a panel to reveal a set of big, clear buttons. You really can’t go wrong here and it’s also easy to switch methods. Withdrawals are similarly easy and take a standard 5 working days to arrive, plus it seems faster in practise.
Payment methods accepted include Visa and MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, Trustly and PaySafeCard. While this covers a bit of everything, it’s a shame to not have PayPal access.
Update (28/2/17) – LeoVegas has since added PayPal support since this review was published, so we have raised their Payments/Withdrawals score in response.
Customer Support
You can find support from the very top left, which brings down a panel of support options. This starts with FAQs and they are pretty thorough and well organised. Scroll down a little more to get the contact methods.
You can reach LeoVegas with the big three of phone, email and live chat. Email includes a quick form and the phone lines are open 24/7. Add a good team to that and you have a really strong support offering! There isn’t much we’d add to this.

Device Compatibility
Visit the support section to find out more about LeoVegas’ mobile functionality. The site offers apps for both iTunes and Android. While you have to install the Android app manually, the site does explain how to go about this.
The apps are well made, clearly professional designs. The mobile slots site is more or less the same, so you can get along just fine if you don’t want to install or have another phone type. You can use the same login details from the main site and navigate with taps. The layout is very similar to the main site, just shrunk down. It’s smart and accessible, with no corner cutting.
Variety & Originality
LeoVegas establishes variety in two ways; by having a mixture of slot providers and by having the sports betting section. The latter puts it partway between major betting sites (which do everything) and most casino sites (which just do slots and table games). It’s a smart balance and nothing suffers from being spread too thinly. LeoVegas has 28 jackpot slots, 21 classic slots and 535 video slots! These range from cute, simple games from Quickspin to graphically detailed adventure slots like Warlords by NetEnt. You also have Microgaming titles and Big Time Gaming titles.
The live casino section of the site, powered by Evolution Gaming, offers over forty rooms, with four exclusive rooms and VIP rooms. There is a mixture of roulette, baccarat, hold ‘em, blackjack and more, with several variations on those games. In short, this is worthy of having its own site section and it’s not just a few extras on top of the other casino offerings (of which there are seventy or so!).
Loyalty & Rewards
The LeoVegas VIP system promises to be fit for a king! You can take part in monthly prize draws, which give away real gifts like Apple products and branded headphones. One player from each VIP level gets a prize and there are 99 levels!
Other VIP offers include invitations to VIP exclusive events, dedicated account managers, personal payment and withdrawal services, unique birthday rewards and exclusive LeoVegas ‘Roaring Reward’ bonuses. Overall it seems to have some good rewards, but information is a bit thin on how fast you can advance.
