For its first year, childrens charity event RailAid is hosting a charity bingo game in partnership with MrQ to raise some cash for a good cause. This exciting game of bingo would have previously been held as a live event, however with COVID-19 restrictions this year, they have taken the event virtual!
RailAid is a fundraising effort that has been created by senior figures across the UK rail industry and The Railway Children, who have joined forces to raise money that will go towards supporting children affected by COVID-19, as well as protecting children from online grooming, child trafficking and domestic abuse.
RailAid week, which starts on the 23rd of November, will entail a series of fundraising events, including an online auction, a quiz and of course, the big bingo game. By teaming up with MrQ, RailAid’s bingo fundraiser will be able to be run remotely by using MrQ’s proprietary bingo technology!
“We’re very much looking forward to working alongside MrQ and are grateful for their support in creating the event,” Head of Fundraising, Jack Miller commented. He continued “We reviewed several options and it was clear that MrQcould provide the smoothest user experience and bespoke gameplay for our audience.”
The event will run in conjunction with a YouTube live stream, with special guest host, Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher! The first bingo game will take place the 24th November at 7pm
