PlayTech wins five-year deal for Sun Bingo

A new dawn

Sun Bingo and Fabulous Bingo will soon have a new platform to call home - Playtech have agreed a five-year deal with News UK to bring both sites onto the Virtue Fusion platform.

The sites will relaunch in August 2016, following the migration of the Gamesys sites onto Playtech’s software.

Both sites’ mobile offerings will also be moved onto Virtue Fusion in a complete overhaul for both brands.

What does this mean for bingo players? Quite a lot!

Virtue Fusion powers a host of big-name online bingo sites, including Sky Bingo, Paddy Power Bingo and Mecca Bingo.

BGO Bingo recently moved over to Playtech’s platform and underwent some big changes. The brand may be the same for Sun Bingo and Fabulous Bingo, but the experience could be very different - we’ll have to wait and see.

On the one hand, that’s great news. Playtech sites offer an exciting, top-of-the-range selection of games on their sites, including the latest video slots and licensed bingo variants.

Gamesys sites do tend to be more unique though. We love the unique offers that can be found on Sun Bingo, Heart Bingo and Jackpotjoy, so we’re a little worried that the Sun Bingo experience might be lost somewhat.

People power

We’re not worried about Sun Bingo or Fabulous Bingo at all though. Sun Bingo is one of the most popular bingo sites in the UK and both are based off of the biggest selling newspaper in the country too.

Still, roomies should definitely keep an eye out for any further developments on Sun Bingo or Fabulous Bingo. There will be a lot of changes and active players should stay up to date on what’s happening with their sites!
