The self procliamed 'fair' bingo and casino operator PlayOJO has recently announced their partnership with Neccton. Together they are launching a new responsible gambling tool designed to help players keep their gambling habits in check.
The new tool has been developed alongside behavioural scientists and psychologists to create a truly useful and beneficial response to problem gambling.
'Safe Mate,' the new responsible gambling tool will allow users to track the amount of money they have deposited and wagered, as well as the length of time they have spent on the site over the last six months.
Tracking player data, Safe Mate will detect risk patterns, changes in player behaviour, and flags up signs of players' potential problem gambling. The tool will present players with a health score and notify them when their playing habits are changing.
The Safe Mate tool will also allow players to compare what they think they have spent to how much they have actually spent to put their gambling habits into perspective. If they are considered to be at risk by the Safe Mate system they will be given personal feeback to help prevent problem gambling.
PlayOJO customers in the UK, Spain, and Sweden will be able to access the Safe Mate tool, alongside a number of other responsible gamvling features on its website, including 24/7 support, account self-assessments, affordability checks and time limits.
PlayOJO's head of Brand Peter Bennett said "We pride ourselves on being the fair online casino and bingo site and will continue to find new innovative methods and tools to help promote safe play for our customers."
