Online casino site RoyalBet has announced that it will be shutting up shop by the end of the month.
In an email sent on Monday, customers were told: ‘We’re sorry to inform you that RoyalBet is closing its doors.
‘From the 23rd of August onward, you’ll still be able to contact our Customer Support team via email to request a withdrawal of any of your remaining funds.’
The site has also assured customers that their personal information will continue to be treated securely.
The reasons for RoyalBet’s closure are unclear.
RoyalBet was launched by Maltese provider SkillOnNet early last year. Its game library boasted 900 titles from providers including Big Time Gaming, NetEnt, Red Tiger and Play’n GO.
The site was accessible to players in the UK, Sweden, Denmark and other jurisdictions accepting brands with the MGA licence.
Players will be sad to see the site go, but they will still be able to access other sites powered by SkillOnNet like Miami Jackpots, PlayMillion and Mega Casino.
