Online Gambling Yield is up, says The Gambling Commission

Online gross gambling yield in the UK is on the rise, according to The Gambling Commission's latest statistics.
From March to June 2024, the online gross gambling yield increased by 12% year-on-year to £1.46bn.
But that wasn't the only increase.
The gross gambling yield for online slots for the same quarter increased by 10% year-on-year at £642m. There were also record-high spins, which increased by 12% to 22.4 billion, and an 11% increase (to 4.4 million) in the number of average monthly active accounts.
In-person betting also saw a rise of 16% (to £625 million), and for online players, the length of session time lasting longer than an hour increased by 8% to 9.6 million. The average session length remained at 17 minutes.
