There hasn’t been a drastic change to Sky Bingo’s layout and design; everything just looks a bit shinier than before.
However, the biggest changes have happened behind the scenes.
Sky Bingo’s new software uses HTML5, which offers a variety of benefits, including a better mobile experience.
It also means Sky Bingo will continue to be properly supported by browsers like Google Chrome - older bingo lobbies that use Flash may have problems in future.
In addition, Sky has also launched a brand new, exclusive bingo variant. Mystical Bingo is live on the site right now, and makes a whole bunch of changes to the classic bingo game.
Mystical Bingo is a 50 ball variant with a “woodland nature theme”. Players choose a ticket price (25p, 50p, £1 or £2), and receive a ticket made up of fireflies with numbers on their backs.
If a firefly’s number is called, it lights up. Light up all the fireflies on your ticket, and you win!
Prizes increase depending on how much your ticket cost, up to a grand prize of £100. There is also a community jackpot which will pay out when a ticket is completed in a certain number of calls.
Best of all, Mystical Bingo is available on mobile, tablet and desktop (as long as you are using the new software), so it’s available to everyone. Head over to Sky Bingo and try it for yourself!
Finally, to help promote these features and changes, Sky is running a new TV ad campaign. It’s all about the excitement that players feel when their ticket has 1TG, and features a load of quick-fire visuals. Take a look at the advert below:
