Dead or Alive 2 launches

The Cowboys are back in the hotly anticipated sequel to NetEnt’s popular slot game, Dead or Alive, which is finally out today (April 24th).

There are some similarities between the two slot games, including the recognisable Wild West theme, but don’t worry because Dead or Alive 2 is undoubtedly bigger and wilder, with a chance to win 100,000 times your stake.

Fans of the original Dead or Alive game shouldn’t be worried, though as the hunt for the legendary wild line is still intact.

Henrik Fagerlund, MD NetEnt Malta Ltd. said: “Given Dead or Alive’s immense and enduring popularity, it is a real responsibility to deliver a sequel to a game held in such high esteem. We’ve listened to the players and the slot community in this project to help ensure that Dead or Alive 2 is the best game it can possibly be.

“We are incredibly pleased with – and proud of – the outcome of Dead or Alive 2 and are sure it will be a hit with those who love the original as well as a whole new generation of fans. It’s definitely a game for fans of high volatility.”

What’s new?

While no one is criticising the design of the original Dead or Alive slot, the sequel features impressive HD graphics and updated artwork that makes it stand out on its own.

Dead or Alive 2 also has three brand new bonus games, each with unique features. Land three or more scatter symbols and you'll get to choose between the three different free spins games:

Old Saloon: Pretty much the same as the original Dead or Alive – all wins are multiplied by two and one or more sticky wild symbols triggers five extra free spins.

High Noon Saloon: The most volatile and comes with the chance to win up to 100,000 times your stake. Same as Old Saloon, but land up to three wild symbols on a reel and they’ll become a multiplier corresponding with the number of wilds present. For example, two wilds become a 2x multiplier and so on.

Train Heist: There is a multiplier that increases by one every time a wild symbol appears on the reels. You're also awarded an extra spin each time this happens. If the multiplier meter reaches 16x, you're awarded five additional free spins.
