A Cozy new home?
Bingo operator Cozy Games has been purchased by gaming group GVC Holdings, according to new license listings from the UK Gambling Commission.
Every Cozy Games domain now appears under the licensee ElectraWorks Limited (a property owned by GVC Holdings) on the UKGC’s site, suggesting that the sale is done and Cozy’s license is being moved across.
All Cozy sites (like Nugget Bingo, for example) feature a link to the UKGC’s license page at the bottom of the page (used as proof that the site is fully licensed); these links have also been redirected to ElectraWorks Limited’s license page.
While details have yet to be officially confirmed, any deal for Cozy would probably be sizeable; they operate a wide variety of sites under the Live Bingo and Best Bingo Networks. Cozy also operates a small handful of slot/casino sites, although this is nowhere near as prolific as their bingo offering.
Players at Cozy sites should be unaffected by this change in ownership, but there is always question marks in these scenarios; players should keep a close eye on any communications in case they are required to act.
We’ll keep an eye out for any further details on this change, and update accordingly.
