Flash the cash

888ladies has launched a new bingo variant called Flash Fives. According to the site, Flash Fives brings “fast gameplay, quick wins and an exciting format” to 888ladies.

In Flash Fives, bingo balls are replaced by playing cards and players need to complete a hand of five cards to win.

Cards are drawn from the deck one at a time and the first player to call Full House on one of their hands takes the winnings. There’s only one prize in this game.

Players can buy a maximum of five hands/tickets in each game. Currently, 888ladies has two Flash Fives rooms with different ticket prices in each. One room offers games for 10p a ticket, while the other has 50p tickets for sale.

Games play regularly from 6pm until 1am in both rooms, so head to 888ladies in the evening if you want to try the game out.

Flash in the pan?

Flash Fives sounds like an interesting addition to Dragonfish’s bingo roster, especially as it seems to have a lot in common with PlayTech’s newest game.

PlayTech launched Cash Cubes in March to provide a faster alternative to traditional bingo games and it has quickly grown in popularity.

Really, both Flash Fives and Cash Cubes are just typical bingo games with fewer balls (or cards, in this case) and different designs. Cash Cubes succeeds because it provides a faster experience and Flash Fives will need to do the same if it wishes to share that success.

Will we see Flash Fives pop up on other sites too? Looks like we’ll have to wait and see.

If you want to be one of the first to try 888ladies’ new variant, head to the site now and sign up. New players can claim a 500% welcome bonus, giving you an extra £50 in playing funds when you deposit £10.
